Kin would show up in the area that his King had instructed him to go and would begin investigating the area. Scouting out to see if the sickness was gone or still lingering.

Kin would proceed to cover his face and walk around asking about the sickness, and when it started showing up. He would even ask about symptoms and the places with the highest amount of sick people.

Kin would find symptons is weakness, dizziness, nausea, coughing, and eventually death. The highest concentration is of people near, or miners in the mines.

He finds the entrance easily enough, but it's guarded by a large burly man wearing some fur clothes, an leather apron and large gloves. He is keeping people away and out.
"Sorry young man. The mines are closed due to recent collapses."

Kin would pause as the man spoke and nod.
"I appreciate the warning, but I am here under orders from the King. To investigate the sickness that has been plaguing these lands, and upon my investigation it appears that these mines seems to be connected to the source of the sickness. I need to go down there and investigate further to see if I can find a solution to help cure these ailing people."
Kin would bow.
"I would ask that you please let me enter, I go in knowing the risk."

The man takes in a deep breath mulling over the man's request before nodding.
"Well take someone who knows the way at least, it's a bit of a maze down there if you don't know where to go."
He waves and a guy rushes over.
"Hey. Guess I'm gonna show you around."
The guy would hand Kin a helmet with a light on it.
"So, you should wear that. Rock falls from the top and hits you in the head without it, you may survive, but... Let's just say you might be rather simple after that."

Kin would nod and agree to the mans terms as he put on the miners helmet. Then he would turn to the guide.

Armen leads the way down and goes for a few turns before the sound of rushing water and the light of lanterns stops. However when his eyes adjust he can see flowing water. It glows.
"We assume it has something to do with our only source of water we have found in years."

Kin looks at the water and sighs. No wonder people are getting sick. He thought to himself shaking his head. He would walk over to the water and pull out his Qi thirsty blade and stick the Blade in the waters to see what would happen.

Kin's blade would flash on a black aura as it was dipped in before it vibrated. It would then violently shake ripping its self almost from Kin's hand int he water before black tendrils would reach out from the blade. Should Kin try to pull the blade from the water he would find he could not. It devoured the glow from the water taking as much in as it could. Kin would find he could now pull the blade from the water and the glow has significantly diminished from it. However his blade still shook, it was far stronger than what he could handle, he obviously knew it too.

Kin VERY carefully, sheathed his blade.
"Your water supply is severely overflowing with Qi energy. Incredibly Dangerous amounts at that too."
Looking back at Armen a question came to his mind.
"I'm curious, do any of the people that have gotten sick have anything in common?"
Probably leave it as a broad question for now...
