Well... this was going to be even more stupid than when he put the blade in the water, but, when you gotta learn more... kin would kneel down beside the water and place his hands in it. If nothing happened, he would take a drink.

Kin wouldn't be able to tell much from touching it. It was cold, and the water was flowing rather quickly as under ground river wells often do. Even when he took a sip, to the stunned dismay of Armen who was just kind of froze holding out a hand as if he was just too late in stopping him from drinking some.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....."
Armen trails off unsure of what to say or how to continue.
Kin feels refreshed, cause the water is nice and cool, if a little salty since it's unfiltered at the source.
"Let's uh... Put the fact this stuff is like poison to most people and address the fact this water is running through an ore mine... That's unsafe unfiltered water."
Armen still can't believe he drank some.

Kin nodded as he stood up.
"Indeed. And with any luck, I'll get sick."
He would say matter of factly. For now though he would attempt to look around and see if there was anything near or around the water.

Kin could tell that the portion of the mines they were in had more or less been caved in, and taken away by the rushing water. However it is obvious that the water has it's own tunnel that it is flowing through.
Armen opens his mouth to say something, but the guy wanted to get sick, there really wasn't anything he could say or object to at this point.

"Well we don't have any tunnels leading that way, but one of the idea's we had was to tunnel along the river's edge to get to the source. We haven't started that yet, due to so many being sick at this point."

"Well, after discovering I'm a Qi user who can mold any substance I touch, I could do it pretty quick, but there is no telling how far the tunnel would go. We'd need air tunnels, lights, at least one or two more people to make supports for the tunnel."

Armen would nod and lead the way back out to gather more workers, then head back in to get to work. It would take five hours before they tunneled into a large opening. It was like an underground cavern with a calm lake in it. There was a center island with a large crystal embedded into it. The lake had veins of rivers running off it with rushing white rapids, but the lake is calm.

Kin would investigate the surrounding area, and the water itself to see if there was anything that couldn't be seen at first over view glance.

The glow was more intense in this area, they didn't even need the light crew. Everyone kind of spread out, but after a moment Kin would be able to notice that the sand surrounding the water was black. It wasn't just a trick of the light.
