Kin would pull out his sword and stab it into the ground. If nothing happened he would take a step forward. Making his way closer to the crystal in the center.

His sword will not release from the sand as it drains Qi energy from the sand, before violently shaking once more. However this time it would come to a stop and begin to sink into the sand!

Kin would grit his teeth and attempt to Yank his sword out of the sand that is trying to absorb it, if unsuccessful he would silently curse to himself as he attempted to use a portion of his swords power to give him the strength to yank it out of the sand!

Kin would find the sword simply slow down at his first yank, but using the swords power he finds it ripple into his arm and slowly fight the sword back out of the sand! However a pale almost blue tinted fleshy hand would follow behind it!

Kin would look to the miners.
"Help me pull!"
He would call out as he continued to attempt to free his sword and, with any luck pull out the creature holding onto his sword.

The miners would hesitate at first before finally helping and sure enough they would lift the torso of a man his eyes would open and he would raise up and out of the sand, towering the rest at about ten feet tall appearing as though the sand had hardened into armor, almost glass like in it's black sheen before it looked at each person in turn. A sword materializing out of the black sand in his hand and copied the stance of Kin. |

Kin would stay in a defensive position while he inspected the individual. He would motion for the miners to back away.
"Who are you? And why are you here?"

The miners back away slowly trying to sneak best they can while Kin tries to communicate. The large being responds.
"Who are you? And why are you here?"
It's voice is broken, rugged, and scratchy.

It zero's in on Kin as he speaks, testing it's grip on the blade before it speaks again.

The large being looks at the crystal.
"Sick."
It says looking back at Kin turning so only one of it's side's is facing Kin.
