The floating man would not respond to the verbal questioning and Preston could feel a slow, yet constant slip of energy coming from it's form. There seemed to be tendrils reaching out and waiting.

Ari would hit Roz with a hard shrug internally to the point she almost did it.

"You got me."

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would get up from his mourning and walk over to the Small creature now. He would bend over to stare at it. Then, softly, he would say.

"Time to wake up little one. You've got some big shoes to fill."

[Preston Salabim]

Preston moved closer still, slowly circling it to examine it.

"It's a sprite for sure, but it's different than a familiar. And the tendrils coming from it are not like any familiar I've ever seen before."

He'd rub his chin in contemplation.

"We could try to establish a bond with it, one of us three..."

He'd look to Kin.

"But as you are representing your Kingdom I will leave that decision up to you."

He really wanted to study this and try to understand it, but it was not his place to do so without conferring with the representative of this land who may want to leave it, or bond with it himself. Or attempt to. Whatever Kin decided however Preston would do his best to aid in it, both to expand his own knowledge, and in good faith with his mission here.

'You mean you don't know any stories on this sort of thing?' She'd tease, but just as as lost as Ari. From what she could tell, it was new to all of them. She did wonder if it would respond to someone else's voice if it wasn't going to just wake at the first around it, though she could feel the gears turning in Preston's head from here.

"Mhmmm." She got the basics of it well enough, looking to Kin as the man spoke softly to the sprite.

The Sprite stays dormant.

Ari huffs indignantly.

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would frown, and turn to Preston.

"I have no experience with these matters... would you mind explaining what is happening?"

[Rozalin Kendal]

"I have an idea about how to wake Sleeping Beauty here. Maybe."

'You could sense it before we could. Are you able to talk to it at all?'

[Preston Salabim]

"Let me preface this by saying I have never seen anything like this before. To my knowledge no one has."

Just to be upfront.

"As best as I can tell this is some variant of a Qi sprite or familiar that has awakened. Hatched from the egg and the crystal. Typically these are formed from the energy and power of a human soul. But this one has formed and hatched on its own."

Preston waved his hand around the sprite, careful to not touch the tendrils.

"Around it are small tendrils of mana that I believe are seeking a bond. Someone with whom to bind to their soul."

He glanced to Roz and shrugged, she knew as much as he did about this specimen. Maybe more thanks to the thing sharing her body.

"What would that be?"

Well that threw a wrench in that idea. That's why you let the smart folk talk first, Roz.

"I was going to see if Ari could reach out to it somehow. He sensed the egg, and nothing we are doing is making a difference." She shrugged. "But the tendril bit makes me want to scratch that idea. It may not be able to talk until it someone to bond with, like you said." She looked over at Kin with the last bit.

It's not something that came from her land. It's not her call.

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin pondered what he should do in this situation. The King said he trusted Kin to make the decisions in this situation... with that Kin made up his mind. He would walk over to Armen.

"Could you hold this for me?"

He would ask taking his sword belt off and handing it over to Armen, if he accepted. If he didn't Kin would simply lay it on the ground. Then he would walk over to the group again.

"Would you mind directing me to where the energy tendrils are?"

He would ask Preston as he reached his hand out towards the small creature.

[Preston Salabim]

"Again, I stress that I do not know exactly what will happen. But if you are sure you wish to try this, I ask that you try to describe what you feel is happening to you so we can better understand it."

If that was agreeable he would motion with his right hand to where the tendrils were moving.

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would nod.

"I understand."

He would then follow Preston's instructions.

[Zack Asiv]

Armen would take the sword and sword belt, and nod.

Kin would feel the tendrils touch him, before they wrapped his hand joining to his energy, there would be warmth and like air brushing his skin. Otherwise it wouldn't hurt or anything. However in his mind he would hear words.

"I have been given the name Aurora. You are Kin Hachirobei, your bond is acceptable. Do you wish it?"

Kin smiled. I accept young Aurora, I hope to grow strong together with you. Kin would then turn to Preston and do his best to explain what he felt.

"-And then I heard a voice in my mind. He says he was given the name, Aurora, and said he found me acceptable for bonding and asked if I, too, accepted. I agreed."

"Interesting..."

The name of the newly formed nation. He nodded slowly as he reached into his satchel to pull out another vial to hand it to Roz.

"If you wouldn't mind collecting the remnants as a sample from your hands? We can look into it back home."
