He let out a relieved sigh as he stored the vial that had once held innocence and laughter.

"The corruption has been cleansed, however, it still houses too much energy and it is still damaged."

He wanted to let them know the progress as they worked so they were not left there standing around and wondering.

"I am now going to attempt to safely draw out the excess energy to prevent a chain reaction."

Once more he laid his hands on the crystal, drawing energy into his body and converting its aetheric alignment.

"Unol fak". He intoned calmly, letting his energy rest on the crystal, gently and steadily draining it of energy.

Roz observed witha single nod as the corruption was purged, accepting the explanation as if it were normal. At this point, it was for her. Though she was also concerned that so much energy in one body might be too much, she knew it would be done by the best. If he could handle a personal qi scar, she figured this would be easier. Less volatile.

Kin understood there was progress... that's all he cared about.

A spout of energy like a fountain of misty water would trickle out casually due to Prestons proficiency with energy manipulations and study. Safely brought down to normal levels of energy for a Raw Qi Crystal of it's size, there only remained the damaged portion.

"Nearly finished. Now we simply need to repair the damage to the crystal's structure."

He'd lay both hands on the crystal this time, placing them over the crack as he took another deep breath. His brows scrunching in concentration as he converted his mana's energy to another element, this time switching to fire.

"Geget keshan" no sooner were the words out that fire would spread from his hands to the crystal, filling its cracks with the fire's healing energy. Burning away any remaining impurities and fostering natural mending and recovery.

Level 7 - The Violet Flame - Fire Element - Support Archetype- Preston is able to summon a violet flame to engulf an alley. The flame is mildly warm and does not damage flesh or clothing and instead enhances the healing abilities of the user allowing them to heal their full energy in damage.

Preston is able to smooth out the damage burning out infectious growths and making the edges fresh. Once he was done he would note some of the crystal had also already begun to grow slowly.

Roz would feel the egg shake.

Preston ran his hands over the Crystal, checking its smoothness and checking to see if any corruption or damaged remained before checking its energy flow to ensure it did not become backed up again.

"Hold on." Roz frowned as she looked from Preston and the Crystal down to the egg.

"Either what you did affected the egg pretty strong, or it's hatching."

Dear god please don't hatch in her hands she's not ready to be a godmother or whatever yet.

"You should give the Egg back to its Guardian."

Kin would say, desperately wanting to get closer but fearful of what all the energy flowing in the room would do to his sword...

The Guardian turned back into the ooze form dripping off the egg as it shook more. Preston would feel no more abnormalities in the Crystal. The egg would crack before a seven inch long eared man popped guy. He would float there in front of Roz for a moment, in some form of stasis. Sleeping as if suspended in the air by strings.

Preston would push up his glasses, moving slowly from the crystal toward Roz and the floating man, trying to get a read on the mana that was coming from it.

"A natural familiar maybe?"

How interesting, and unheard of.

...Roz is very much aware that she has embryo in her hands! And probably what's left of the crystal guardian.

"Maybe." Her brows knit as she looked at the small man before her. "Neither of ours came into our lives quite like this, though, did they?" Well, hers kind of did in the spontaneous way, not so much the hatching.

"Who are you?" she asked the slumbering man.

Kin was the only one who didn't approach the Egg, instead he went to kneel in the ground where the Guardian last stood.

"Good bye... friend."

Kin would say. Before remaining silent as his he gave a moment of silence for the friend he had lost.
