"Armen, is that the individual that can help cure this Qi crystal?!"

Kin would call out as soon as he heard Armens voice.

It made sense that they'd have someone keeping an eye on the water to prevent anyone else trying to get to it, so Roz wasn't overly concerned, especially when they called for Armen out by name. She did look the man with the killer sword over, though. It gave her the creeps, even if it was a well-made blade.

She sticks with Preston!

Armen would nod at Preston and rush over to introduce the specialist.

"Yeah! This is High Chancellor Preston Salabim. Current leader of Ayatlan."

Once they entered the wider cave they would see it's dome like structure, beach with black sand, the giant with the sword, and the calm lake where in the center sat the crystal. The lake was unmoving, not even ripples or signs of under currents. A stark contrast to the river it feeds.

Preston would pocket the vial before nodding his head and bringing his hand to his heart.

"Greetings."

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would bow his respects.

"Greetings to you as well. I am Kin Hachirobei, and this-"

He would say motioning to the giant.

"Is the Guardian of the Crystal. He means no harm so long as you mean no harm to him or his charge."

Roz was used to weird things, and not. Nodding to acknowledge Kin, her attention turned towards the giant, and the water that went fro raging to utterly still.

"The crystal, I take it?" The guardian was fascinating, reminding her of beings from old stories.

Armen would nod to Roz when she asked about the crystal. The giant crystal guardian would look at the new people. Preston got a sample of the water, which didn't bother him at all.

"Yes. Do you mean harm to the crystal?"

[Preston Salabim]

Preston would step forward, sliding his glasses up.

"I mean to remove the corruption infecting it."

[Rozalin Kendal]

Roz would shake her head at the being's question.

"We mean you and the crystal no harm."

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would turn to the Guardian.

"I did ask for Armen to seek their aid, but I will not lie to you. I do not know them and I cannot vouch for them. The choice to trust them is yours alone. Though, if you would like my opinion..."

He would look the two over again.

"I do not feel any treacherous intent coming from either of them."

[Zack Asiv]

The Crystal Guardian would shift it's gaze between the parties and people as they were mentioned, visibly becoming a bit agitated with how many people were in the room or wanting to go near the crystal.

"If you harm it, more than this land will perish."

The Guardian warned with a steel gaze at Preston.

[Preston Salabim]

Preston would slowly move toward the guardian and the crystal.

"I have no intention of harming anything. But to fully understand what is at stake I must ask, what else beside this land will perish?"

They had spoken their words and were given a warning in return. Any further protests or reassurance would only make things worse.

She lets her actions speak, instead. Roz stands protectively behind Preston, nodding at the Guardian's words.

Kin would continue to stand next to the Guardian. As far as he was concerned he trusted the giant more than the new comers.

"The corruption had made the energies the Crystal has been a part of unstable. It has been leaking energy this much is true, but it has been gaining and building energy at a much faster rate. Damaging the crystal would cause an explosion of untold proportions as well as the life inside the crystal."
