Even as Soni starts to push his arms off, Val goes to stand in front of them to shield the three girls from the potential blast, powering up as he does so!

However, when it doesn't reach them, he gives a little sigh of relief.

"Well, now I look like an idiot... though it's better than getting hit, looks like."

She says the last bit more quietly.

Evelyn was not amused. The attack on the presents was too quick for her to catch, the white-haired boy sending an eruption of explosions as she raised an arm to protect her face as a glowing shield formed to absorb some of the damage as she was sent flying back into whatever there was to land on. She frowned deeply at the saucy toys trying to taunt them as she pushed herself up.

"So will naughty toys." She winced at the burst of energy burning her skin,

"Last warning. Let us go, or there's not going to be enough left for you to regift." Hopefully Spike and her dad didn't have to deal with this.

"It doesn't hurt right now..." she admits, biting her lip a bit nervously.

"I've never been so far from him."

She suddenly gasps.

"I don't even know what I can do when he's not there?! C-can I even bind with someone else? IS THAT EVEN OKAY?!"

Before she can have a full panic though, she gives a scream as a bunch of people get the smack down, and she quickly ducks to make herself smaller even with Val now standing as a meat-shield.

"Naughty! You're all naughty!!"

She doesn't know that word, but if she says it enough she'll definitely figure it out. Either way, she's blissfully oblivious to everyone else's hardships because she has the bestest friend around right now.

[Kaia Galanos]

As usual Faye's not very pleased to feel pain and gets knocked the fuck down. Which is where she stays.

The potion she was holding goes flying towards a pile of toys somewhere behind her, where it activates.

Level 4: "Gravity" - Mixing earth and darkness, Faye can throw a potion that creates a gravity field where it lands. The field pulls the target(s) in for one posting round.

"I..." Oni was about to say something but instead, it turned to a startled Squeal! Her hands went up to protect herself. Oh if this was a game then it was Jumanji and she was really never looking forward to playing that tabletop... EVER

She looked around and scoped the area for what she might immediately do. "Thank you, Valerian, now I am going to borrow your shoulders a moment! " She grabbed the back of his shirt and lifted herself with one foot on each shoulder and flung her tail across the wounded companions that they would need. By this point, her tail was covered in small and narrow scales that would fly off and be sent to give aid and buff those who would need the extra oomph for what they were facing. Getting rid of their allies would not be too good so early in this game

Quill Pills Bonus: Can add an adrenaline enhancing endorphin that will give the affected a +50% attack and defense boost. They feel less pain and more determination. Once the endorphin wears off they could feel the overexertion of their bodies.

[Soni Vox]

Soni jumped a little bit by the blast. That was quite the blast. Kinda reminded her of...

She looked at its source. Hey... That was the kid that stole sodas!!! And littered!! Wasn't he like a prince or something??? In any case, he tried to do that present like he did the car, but with quite a different result. Thankfully they were (not-so-)protected by a guy who reminded her of the boys in the orphanage that thought they were cool because they could touch the top of the door frames if they jumped as high as they could.

Then Oni leaped to action and Soni had nothing better to do, so she decided she would join. She walked past the guy and reached up to pat him on the shoulder. "Nice try big guy. Stick with the girl and protect her. We'll take care of the actual fighting stuff."

She ran toward the battle ready to support. As she ran toward everything she called out to the... toys??? Mustering up a deep dark scary voice, but being sure to cast it so no one that was afraid would be afraid of her. She was a good guy.

She cast it up in the air like an announcement to all the fiends. "I'M NOT AFRAID OF BEING NAUGHTY. LET'S SEE HOW NAUGHTY I CAN GET." the voice that would seem straight from the mouth of the Lord of Darkness and Evil and sound throughout the whole building. That'd at least by time to decide who to go protect.

Voice of Deimos: Soni can conjure up the most terrifying of voices. Makes even the most bad to the bone shiver to their bone. (-9 to DEF). Meanwhile, her and her allies feel a little more evil and are ready lay waste to their puny enemies, giving them +18 to ATK.

Distant Call: Throw voice from Skyrim, essentially. Soni can create sound up to 20 ft. in any direction.]

[Jericho]

Jericho would be hit by the blast and fly back a few feet. He'd hit the ground and roll backwards and slide on his knee. Instantly he would extend a blade from his right fist and look around wildly. He noticed the ground shake for a moment and was extremely concerned.

"Someone find the source of the voices!" he would yell in his lifeless tone. Wherever the source was, was where the trouble came from, surely.

Jericho would look around and see some shelves in the distance. If he could get to the top, more would be in view. Higher ground was often the right option.

The white haired police captain would burst into a dead sprint for the closest shelf in view, readying himself for whatever might stand in his way.

[Sir Galahad]

Faye's potion would destroy the toys closest too it, however with the destruction of those toys a path would be made clear. Jericho would already be running down this path heading for a toy shelf to climb upon.

"Hehehehe, it's time to play!"

"Time to play, Time to Play!"

"Come find me!!!"

[Marin]

"Hide and seek?" Marin tilts her head.

She's had enough of hugs, so she pulls away to go look for those voices!

To no one's surprise, and adrenaline boost doesn't seem to inspire much in her and Faye stays on the ground.

She's fine, of course. She's just accepted this is where she is.

Elias starts walking along the path made, eyes watching for the owners of those voices.

Lann groans, struggling to get up.
