He'd find Avenger's defensive circle was pretty good. But when Spike went for the downward thrust Avenger would step into it, the blade piercing his flesh as he closed into Spike's guard bringing his own weapon to bear at Spike, looking to do the same to him with his Qi draining blade!

Figuring Avenger was going to continue his playing around Spike would ignore the stab letting it do it's thing before throwing a forward push kick and ripping his blade back and going in a quick rotation with his elbows and wrists to spin the blade around and come up from a low slash. Avenger would find his flaming sword was for more than show, the stab would throw flame and electricity from it, while the new slash would explode with a torrent of flames!

This sword used to be a bat infused with all of the elements, Spike had it reforged, during the reforging process the sword ate the flames and became stronger. The bat deals an automatic +50% Eng dmg in Fire, and an additional +15% Eng in whatever element Spike chooses on top of the +50%.

The Blade drank from Spike as he took the stab in stride. Avenger's grin twisting as the blade flared to life within Spike (5 Qi uses drained from Spike) before he got away. Avenger would bring the blade down to meet Spike's flaming one easily, the flame quenching as long as it kept in contact with Avengers.

Avenger's blade would ripple and a surge of energy leaped from his blade to Avenger's body as Spike's first stab wound inflicted on him healed before his eyes.

"Thanks for the pick me up kiddo. Now, what else do you have?"

Spike would grit his teeth after seeing Avenger heal. That was new, but Spike felt his energy drained out of him. Let alone the stab wound he had now, Avenger was strong enough to block the sword second sword attack and basically null out the explosion of fire he had prepared for him... This didn't bode well, Spike would kind of chuckle.

Spike would level his sword again as blood oozed from his wound along his stomach, down his frotn and staining his shirt and pants.

"You really are troublesome."

Spike would slide forward again mimicing his previous approach before thrusting the flaming sword forward again, aiming for Avenger's gut once more.

Avenger spun and pivoted to avoid the blade as he maneuvered around spike to send an elbow for the back of his head.

"And you are doing a piss poor job of killing everyone in the Deadlands."

Spike knew this move, not from Avenger doing it, but just from his battle experience when he took the airport. Bending his upper body and lowering his head he shifted his weight forward. Once avoiding the elbow he would shift his weight and direction to slash the blade across Avenger's mid section, causing an explosion of fire like before.

"Then get out of my way!"

The blow would land and Avenger would be blown back, rolling on the ground as his body hit. His body shaking as he chuckled, the smell of burning flesh fresh.

"That's better. Maybe I won't have to kill you yet after all..."

Spike would dash forward, renewed as his black aura sprung to life once more!

~I have to do something about the bokken, or I'm going to be at a much larger disadvantage. Not because of it's ability to absorb my energy, but the fact he can use that energy to heal himself.~

Spike would aim to bring the sword down on his opponent, knowing he could use the elemental attack as a projectile instead he couldn't do that, not yet. He needed to keep this a physical fight and gamble on being able to void his Qi being shut down by one of Avengers strike's. He had only one idea for that, and even then it was a gamble as well.

As Spike charged at him, blade raised to make his strike, Avenger would hurl the bokken handle like a dagger for Spike's chest. If it landed the blade would form, piercing his chest and extending out of his back as Avenger sneered.

"Keep it. A gift for old times."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would grimace as he tried to throw his body to his right as hard as he could with a load.

"TCH!"

The sword would impale his left shoulder completely throwing him off trajectory, slamming into the ground with his right shoulder, he would stab his sword roll onto his front pushing off the ground with his right hand, barely able to keep his sword in his hand as well skidding to a halt he would let go of his sword and grab the bokken handle, to turn it off.

"Argh!"

He grunted hard. He stared at Avenger, spitting on the ground, his left arm useless... Not the first time, not the worst pain he's been in, but on the outside... Having his freedom, poisoned, injured, probably going to die. And it;s because of this fucking guy.

Spike would push himself to a standing point before his Battle Aura would flare up.

"I'm not going to die here... I'm going to finish my goal... The Deadlands will bow it's head or be destroyed, Prota will fall... And YOUR ASS IS GOING TO GET KICKED ONE OF THESE DAYS!"

His battle aura would flare an intense heat within him, before his right hand would move to his left shoulder, creating black plasma as he pressed it to the bleeding wound, repeating the process on his gut, sealing the bleeding wounds. Though he wasn't bleeding and was slightly healed his arm was still useless. Putting the bokken in his pocket and picking up the sword again he would breath deep. He was so tired, but still willing to rumble.

He laughed and turned his back on Spike as he began to walk away, lifting a hand dismissively.

"You have no idea how much I am counting on it little one."

Spike would watch Avenger wave and grit his teeth before putting his sword back in it's sheath. However he would watch to see if Avenger left this place, or if Spike needed to find a new place as defend-able as this for a home base.

Avenger would leave the building completely. It was discovered and useless to him. Spike could take it for all he cared.

Spike gains

Modified Bokken handle 5 Energy - Twice per thread Spike may conjure up a blade of energy from the handle for one post. He can heal himself for 75% of the damage that he inflicts with this energy blade. (Upgradeable)

Qi mutation Plasma Heal: Spike can close bleeding wounds on an ally and heal them for 1/2 his energy in damage. Or he can inflict his full energy in damage to himself in order to restore a Qi use to himself or an ally.
