Act 2 (Tina/Link)

The circus was slowly picking up steam, in addition to Tina they had acquired a few musicians and a carpenter to fix wagons as needed. What was once a one-man show was turning into a small but merry band of performers and it filled his heart with joy. To see that there were kindred spirits out there willing to share in his dream. To travel the world and help those less fortunate. To bring happiness to a world that was drowning in bleakness. They may not be saving the world in the way that heroes and knights in stories did. But he chose to believe that in their own way they were doing their part.



They were continuing their path up through territory 259 to start, stopping at the small towns that dotted the landscape. Many of them little more than a handful of huts and sheep or farms. But here they would perform and accept donations to keep them going to the next hamlet where they would continue again.



With the addition of musicians, their wagons were filled with the merry sounds of trumpets and flutes going about in a danceable jig. Ardan for his part was in his usual makeup juggling batons of fire as he balanced himself on a ball. Though thanks to his Qi it was really only the one baton, even if it did look like five.

Humming to herself along with the music, Tina's smile grew at the sight of those around them, performing on a rope that had been strung between two of the tents. The acrobat shifted so her foot slid along her perch, standing on one foot as she performed a handstand towards the edge of one of the wagons, using the motion to reach for a couple of brightly colored hula hoops and toss them in the air! She continued the motion to keep all three going, one on each arm and one around her torso.

Link would be happening by, exploring his new home when SUDDENLY HE FOUND THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER OMG!!!!

"A CIRCUS?!"

He would RUN and be front and center out of all the people present his eyes wide and sparkling at the spectacle. He had read about them in books, but to actually SEE one with his own eyes!

"Best Day EVER!"

Ardan's eyes sparkled at the reaction of the crowd especially the young man up front. Rolling on the ball to stand before him, balancing carefully as he continued to juggle the flames changing to every shade and hue of the rainbow as he did so.

"Your words fill our hearts to bursting, for we aim to please and we are pleased to meet our aim."

Tina glances at the exuberant shout up front! It's so much energy, and she loves it. Given they're more than a one-man or two-person show, it's actually kind of fun! She can't say she didn't enjoy being part of the focus of it.

"You know it!" She grinned, the two hoops sliding down her arms to her hands so she could hold them, lifting them over her head and keeping them still as she kept the momentum. Guy Fawkes is dancing on the hoops!

Link watches the show with excitement! Dancing to music (whether there was music or not) He "ooooed" and "awwwwed" always in bewilderment as the two continued their acts!

"Y'all are AMAZING!!!"

"We are just people doing what we love. Everyone has something amazing about them. I am positive you are no different."

Suddenly Ardan would lurch backward hitting the ground as his leg kicked the flaming baton toward Tina as a ball flew up into the air from out of Ardan's pant leg!

Tina is still kind of a selfish brat, so she just nods with a grin as Ardan encourages and compliments someone else!

Guy hops down as she tosses the hoops to the top of the wagon, doing his thing as she catches the baton and charges it like they'd practiced! It lights up for a second as she gives it a tiny boom!

The baton would explode in a shower of colorful sparks which would be mirrored by the other batons which would explode at the same time as balls fell from where they exploded toward the prone Ardan who would proceed to kick with his legs up in the air to juggle the now multicolored balls with his feet.

"Can we get a round of applause for the Fantabulous Tina!?" He would applaud while he continued to juggle with his feet, back on the ground looking up at the crowd.

Link Jumped and clapped and hooted and hollered! The whole nine yards in giving out the praise! It was as if he just saw his first magic act!!! BECAUSE HE JUST WITNESSED HIS FIRST MAGIC ACT!!! SO HAPPY!

"A-MA-ZING!!! Y'ALL ARE SO COOL!!!"

He hopped up and down!

"Man I wish I could be in a circus!"

"Well, why can't you? You're an adult aren't you?"

He'd ask still juggling with his feet.

The sky is showered in brightly colored light! Tina nods and holds the baton aloft so hers doesn't set anything on fire with the caravans.

Sure you can! I did." She starts flipping the baton between her fingers as the fireworks die down.

"I CAN- YOU MEAN- SO THEN- WHAT ABOUT- OH MY- WE- YES!!!!!!"

He would exclaim!

"WHEN CAN I START?!"

"Well that depends, do you have any special skills and talents that you can perform with?"

The balls were shifting color midair until he gave them a mighty kick to send them higher up, where they would poof away leaving him to catch the final one with a bow!

Tina lets the last hoop still and slide down as the show ends! She's grinning at the excitement from the other guy. It should b fun - if he had anything he could do. Shifting her leg, she pushed the hoop up as it hit her knees, tossing it to join the others. It's still too thin for her to do a whole lot of movement on the rope for now, but he doesn't need to know that.

Instead, she cartwheels to the wagon she's closest to, and proceeds to swordfight Guy with the baton as they talk!
