It's Gonna Get Hot (Roz/Lann/OPEN)

[John]

John was at the reception, dragging Lann around. Hearing about the party and joining the elite squads that had been sent to Aurora after it was attacked and just sticking around for the wedding. After hearing about the party, John sent an invite to Lann with his PT that was basically an order. No chance of saying no or John would go to Cabal to pick him up. Guy was a party animal and John liked the cut of his jib.

John was busy forcing getting some drinks for Lann and himself.

"Seen any babe's yet?"

[Cain Rhamos]

Lann is standing there, feeling so awkward he doesn't know what to do with himself.

He looks at the floor.

"N-no... I haven't s-seen any babies..."

[Rozalin Kendal]

The wedding was deemed safe enough, but Roz had no complaints. The ex-pirate was making her way through the room, headed towards the drinks. She kind of needed one at this point, and it was one of the times she could.

Preferably something that wasn't champagne.

[John]

Since Roz decided to walk right over while Lann was trying to respond John would interrupt, by taking a stance. His left hand hitting Lann playfully in the stomach to shut him up and his right hand shooting out as if he were anime objecting in a court room from a popular video game!

"Holy shit, there is a really hot babe right there!"

Of course, John exclaimed it loudly and his finger was maybe two feet away from Roz at this point.

"It's the really hot Pirate Babe from that one mission!"

"Wh-hoof!"

Lann is surprised! He glances at Roz, then looks away quickly, feeling nervous!

[Rozalin Kendal]

Rozalin's lips lift into a brief smirk at the very obvious pointing and shouting, getting an earful of compliment. Much as she tried to smother the sound, they could still hear her laughter as she turned, brown raised and coy smile already in place.

"Hello to you, too, Firestarter. Who's your friend?" She looked Lann up and down before looking to John again.

[John]

"Oh, right. So this is Lann. He is a party animal, full on almost had sex in the middle of this really fancy party, cause let me tell you, it was super boring till his partner helped him get into her shirt and he went in for the full frontal grab."

John opens his PT with the pictures he took, all of which make it look like Lann was purposefully grabbing her, and she was totally into it.

"Anyways."

John puts away his PT.

"How'd you get into this party? You just kind of vanished from Cabal when I heard Mage Bro became some big shot in Ayatlan."

[Cain Rhamos]

"Wh-what?!"

He looks at the pictures.

"WHAT!?"

Lann starts to feel lightheaded.

[Rozalin Kendal]

"Oh really?" Roz gives Lann another look over, not expecting such a reputation from someone who already seemed to be on the verge of fainting. Cute. She looked over the picture that John pulled up, appreciating the show on display with a low whistle.

"Well now, in that case, you can probably make lots of friends. Like her." She nodded towards the first female figure she saw, which happened to be Oni,  Good.  He could loosen her up.  "You two would probably hit it off." At the mention of her disappearing, she gave John a knowing smile.

"That's because I served my time and followed your mage bro home for now."

[John]

John would see Oni, specifically his eyes would focus in as his pupils became nearly pin pricks zooming all the way in on her chest. Solid. He'd lean over to Lann.

"Alright dude. Here is your big moment. Remember to take her somewhere private before going for the party move. But as an opener, tell her to ask you about your wiener."

John would push Lann towards Oni. Physically, with a good amount of force actually.

After he would completely ignore Lann and Oni turning back to Roz.

"Oh man, Mage Bro got you? Shit, I wanted to at least take you out once and see what kind of shit we could get into."

[Cain Rhamos]

"B-but I d-di"

Wait. Ask about...

Lann's face flushes red, and he's not even saying words anymore.

[Rozalin Kendal]

Rozalin would chuckle and wink at the now silent Lann who was about as red as a tomato.

"Have fun, charmer." She waves at his retreating back with a slight gesture as John shoves him onward.

"I wouldn't quite say he got me, but I do have to behave a bit." She tapped a finger to her jaw. It was a mixed bag with Preston and the situation they were in. "As I said, for now. What did you have in mind?"

[Novocaine]

Nova's just enjoying punch in her own corner. She had to get away from Daniel's nervous energy for a bit so she disappeared to go and have a look around.

Yup. No one she knows is here.

[John]

"Huh, let's see..."

John would stretch a bit, looking around before spotting an area of merriment and fun.

"Care for a dance? None of this slow waltz crap either. Bet if I toss a few coins they'd give us a real shanty to kick around to."

He'd hold out a hand for her to take so he could lead them over if she accepted.

Lann is pushed towards apparently Nova now!

He looks at her, then looks away.

Then at her.

Then away.

It’s awkward as hell.
