Crystal Specialist (Preston)

[Zack Asiv]

Armen would lift his left arm, the crystals on the ringlet glowing and projecting his PT interface. Swiftly moving his right hand through the projected interface before sending the call to Bailey's PT.

[Bailey Oleander]

The call goes through, though it takes a couple of rings before Bailey picks up.

"Hi Armen." The queen's voice comes through, a bit worn out but otherwise positive, if surprised. "What can I do for you?"

[Zack Asiv]

"Hey sis! So, I may have jumped the gun and crossed a few borders. We have figured out what is causing the sickness and famine in Peruna, and in our excitement Kin sent me to Ayatlan to find a Crystal Specialist. So, I ended up here with the High Chancellor over 260 who has agreed to negotiate with you or Blake in our time of need."

Armen did his best to explain the lapse in reason.

[Preston Salabim]

Preston sits there patiently letting them talk. And for Bailey to agree.

[Bailey Oleander]

"..." Bailey needs a moment to unpack everything that just got dumped in her lap.

"I see." She frowned and shook her head, regardless of not being seen. "Please try to make sure that we have word next time, please." There was a sense of relief, both at his being okay and that they had a chance to end the sickness that had taken so many.

Who...happened to be someone she dated once.

"We would be happy to negotiate. The sooner this can be done, the better."

[Zack Asiv]

"Well. I am here with him right now, and I am sorry I didn't call you first. Uh..."

Armen would look to Preston.

"When would you be available for these negotiations?"

[Preston Salabim]

"From what I understand this sickness is serious and urgent care is needed. I am willing to leave now to attend to it if you will agree to pay with what you call Qi crystals. I understand your land is quite rich with them. I am further willing to negotiate the price after treating this epidemic given our history at Cabal and mutual trust."

And it should be quite simple for him to fix this.

[Bailey Oleander]

"I see." There was a moment of silence as Bailey processed the fact that her brother was already there, in the same room.

"We accept the terms for the crystals and negotiate further depending on what you find or need." What Preston asked for wasn't out of the question. It was a form of study, something that could help, and something they had enough of to hopefully satisfy the High Chancellor.

"Any haste would be appreciated. Thank you."

[Zack Asiv]

Armen was sweating bullets the whole time!

However he was waiting for the go ahead, he was the lowest ranking person in this conversation and he felt it.

[Preston Salabim]

"If it pleases you I will make to your palace after the work is finished with a summary of the cause of the issue and the results of my remedy."

[Bailey Oleander]

"That would be wonderful. Thank you, Preston." Shoot, formality. Formality, Bailey! Clearing her throat,s eh continued.

"Armen, can you please escort the High Chancellor to the site of the crystal when he is ready? The palace doors will be open to you both whenever you choose to arrive."

[Zack Asiv]

"Will do, your Highness."

He would hang up and look to Preston.

"By your leave, High Chancellor."

[Preston Salabim]

"I will be ready within the hour. I will need to summon my Bodyguard and prepare the ingredients I will need. If it pleases you Clarence will see that you receive a meal and are able to spend that time in comfort."

[Zack Asiv]

Armen would bow at the waist as he had seen before in appreciation of the allowed comfort.

[Preston Salabim]

Armen would be treated to what was almost a feast! Eventually, Preston and Roz would return. Preston now equipped with a satchel.

"I hope you have found the accommodations to your liking."
