Rozalin followed Preston to where their guest and guide waited for them, nodding in greeting at the scrappy blonde.
"Sounds like this is going to be an interesting trip."

Armen was caught! he was stuffing some food into his satchel. He turns a bit red as he straightens up and rubs the back of his neck.
"U-uh, yes. It was very good."
He turns red again trying to look away from Roz best he could.
"Yes. There are many things to see in Peruna!"
He doesn't mean to, but his voice is elated at the end of his sentence.

Preston turned to Roz.
"From what I understand before Aurora they survived by scavenging and salvaging old world tech. Even restoring some of it. It should be an interesting trip to be sure."

Roz would raise a brow at the sight of the guy stashing food away, but if he was offered it then she wasn't gonna to comment. Her lips quirked in an amused smile as he looked away, turning her attention to Preston as he explained the situation. A place of Old World tech that worked? He was going to have a field day, even if it was under time restraint.
"In that case, it already sounds like a place worth seeing." She crossed her arms over her chest as she spoke. Aurora had been safe well enough during the wedding and the cliff notes version of what was going on suggested it should be fine and they weren't at risk of catching the sickness themselves.
"I'm guessing we're ready?"

"Ready! Oh, uhm. I was hoping we didn't have to take the long way, so I prepped some teleport crystals?"
Armen would pull three fist sized crystals from his satchel and raise them as if asking if that was okay.

The what now? Roz stared for a moment, taking her crystal only after Preston did. The words were simple enough, but what the heck was a teleportation crystal and how was she supposed to use it? Activate it? Wish?
She gave Preston a look that suggested help was appreciated.

"It took some time for us to perfect the tech. You simply hold the Crystal, give it some energy and it will recall to the mother Crystal it's attached to. These are all for the 63 mother crystal, otherwise known as Aurora."
Armen would explain, excited to get the chance. He loved the Qi tech just as much as he loved the old world tech. The wires, and energy were all there, you just couldn't see them. Armen would open his PT to it;s scan function and scan the Crystal to show Roz.
"See all these lines inside the crystal? They represent a system of energy flow, like a signature. Like combat Qi Crystals that are attuned to the signature of an element or specific attribute, this is attuned to the energy of a place. Activating it as you would a combat crystal, which anyone, even a normie can do, will zip you off to the location through the aether, life stream, mana well, whatever. Boom there you are at your destination."

Yep, words. Lots of words. Rozalin would nod at the explanation, getting some of it but mostly just needing the basics of what to do to use it. Examining the crystal again, she let Armen finish his explanation without interruption.
"Impressive." She would grasp the crystal and nod. It was time to go.

Armen would nod hard and grip his Crystal, letting it glow for a second to check and see if Roz had a grip on it before zipping off into his ray of light to pop up in the town square in Aurora!

"Of course I do." She appreciated the gesture, her expression softening for a moment before she gave him a knowing look.
"I know you're excited to see what's there." She'd wait for a response if he had one, but otherwise would just activate the crystal.
Time to go back to Aurora!

They would appear near Armen who was opening the door to a the first luxury model of the vehicle export they were making. Mixed old tech motors with Qi engines to create an odd hybrid. More powerful and capable of running on much less Qi energy than pure Qi Engines.
