Marin does the thing and burns the hell out of the two ants, which eventually fall down and burn to a crisp. Krane looks over and his left eye glows before an intense optic blast of ice shards and energy fire's like a laser cutting across the land and Ant's that have least the mount, sealing it shut for the time being.

"Very good, I am proud of you."

Krane says as he gets to a standing position turning to look at her with a smile.

"Let's go for some snow cones or ice cream. celebrate how good you did. Remember we only do that to bad guys, or people that try to hurt other people, because?"

Marin starts panting.

She's never put that much effort into burning something before. It was exciting, but weirdly draining.

She closes her hands into excited fists at the praise, giving quick, tiny hops as if she'd gotten a second wind from the praise, the promise of sweets and that really cool attack he just did! It wasn't fire but it was still really awesome!

"Uh. Um!! Because it's bad!"

Wait, she kinda had a talk about that with Val and Preston.

"Oh! And uhh! Not good to hurt people because I don't like it! So they need to stop!"

It's like...an attempt at saying don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you...

Krane would hold out his hand for her to take, though he had a new stern look on his face.

"Did someone try to hurt you?"

[Marin]

She takes his hand and tilts her head.

"Hmm? I don't know...why?"

I mean no one had since that one time with David, from memory. But that was a long time ago.

[Krane Asiv]

"If they did hurt you. That would make them bad, which means Daddy would have to use his powers on them."

Krane would explain as he led the way out of the training grounds.

[Marin]

She looks down somewhat ashamed, somewhat frustrated.

"No...I hit someone because they said you were gone..."

[Krane Asiv]

"Oh? They made you angry and you lashed out? What happened then?"

Krane asked, waiting for the full explanation.

[Marin]

Darn it, she's telling on herself.

"Presson said to say sorry. And Val said it hurt and it hurt his feelings. And Presson said no one wants to be hurt and hitting people will make them hit you too and it makes you feel bad. And I think yes. Getting hit isn't nice because I don't like being hit."

At the very least it was a good way to change her perspective on that being okay, since it was what she had known before.

[Krane Asiv]

Krane would ponder on it, though it seemed like the situation was handled.

"You know, Marin... This also makes me proud. You did wrong by hitting this, Val person. But, Presson was right, and so were you being so smart that you figured it all out without me having to tell you."

[Marin]

Marin looks up at him in surprise. Wait, so she's...NOT in trouble?

She grins at the praise giving a bit of a giggle!

"Before, umm, I think hitting is okay because the master did it. But I think the master is a bad guy?"

[Krane Asiv]

"Yes, the master is a bad guy. When you are older we will find the master and show him what happens to Bad Guys."

Krane nods as he heads back to the Command Dormitories where they lived.

"You understand that we will have to find and confront the people from your past?"

[Marin]

Marin follows without complaint. Even though it only took up a little bit of time, she was admittedly pooped from burning ants.

At his question, she would give a long hmmm before nodding.

"Yeah. I think I want to."

Even though her memories were foggy.

"But I don't remember them a lot."
