The eart was soft to the touch, rich and dark with nutrients. Though she had been in Aurora for months and helped rebuild it when it was still just Territory 63, it was odd to see. To see trees reaching to the sky, rich earth that could successfully grow plants. To not be surrounded by rock and dust and the light of qi crystals that powered machines. Now it was home. A place where there was enough food and water. Shelter. Strength.
Nodding to the old man that had joined them after the tournament held in front of Cabal, Bailey removed the pouch from her pocket before slowly kneeling and scooping some of that same dirt in her hand. A land that her family was now a part of. Not having to worry about starving again, or dying of thirst with the dust in their throat and nothing to ease it. A place where the people came together – hers, Blake's, and Camelot, as well.
Carefully pouring the contents of the pouch into her palm, Bailey gazed at the seeds for a moment. The gamble fruit she had been given from Cabal was still uneaten for now, but she had taken the time to break it apart, wrinkling her nose at the foul smell and black juices that had run freely and still left a faint stain on her skin.
The seeds were placed in their respective holes, covering them with the eart again and patting it to settle, letting her hand rest on it as she wondered what else would come from this land for the people. What this would mean. A chance for change. A place for her family and their people to grow strong and have more than they ever could have had on their own.
She pushed herelf up, palm against her lower back as she grunted at the vertebrae popping and sighed. President Asiv would probably have a few words for her, whether he kept the thoughts to himself or not. But it was a thought for another time. For now, it would be enough to see what would grow and how it could help Aurora.
A place where hope could grow.
