This was exactly why she wanted to practice what it felt like to use the energy to boost her other senses. Still, he was faster, and though she willed the energy to bolster her energy along with her own construct shield.
"Damn. Point taken." She took the damage with a small wince. She definitely needed more practice. But it hurt less than she thought, desite the bruise that was forming already.

He'd say releasing the energy from the ground before slamming his foot into the ground to send a wave of blunted pillars at her.

Level 1: Stone Strike - Mathew hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. (Mutation: the stone projectiles are now covered in hardened Qi for additional damage! +18 for Damage Calculations)

Okay, point being learned. Blunted or not, it was going to hurt. Letting the energy continue to flow, her constructs would take a form she hadn't used yet, wings shaped like blades forming at her back as she darted to the side, the familiar qi blades forming as she hurled at him from both sides. She wasn't ready to le go of her contact with the ground yet.

Smite - Evelyn is able to further charge her inner strength and unleash it through her constructs. Shaped like blades, they hurl themselves at the enemy for a single strike. 1/2 her ENG is added to SPD and ENG, doing her full ENG in damage.
Ability #6: Creating wings from energy, Eve can add her energy stat to her speed stat. This also allows her to fly at the same speed as her energy stat.
Ability #2: Taking the form of her weapon of choice, Evelyn’s construct allows her to add 3/4 of her energy to her attack. (Mutation: Evelyn can now use the earth to enhance the damage her constructs do! +18 to Damage calculations)

Mathew brought his arms up in a cross to block the incoming blades, the energy ripping through his shirt but not the stone protecting his arms. Going to show yet again just how much the earth below his feet does for him.
"I think that is enough for now. You did well, I'm proud of you sweety."

Not a scratch, though the shirt was ruined. They were both kind of used to that by now, though. Eve's expression brightened as the wings faded. The struggle felt even more worth it.
"Thanks, Daddy." She'd let go of the energy she had been holding on to, trying to feel how it felt to release it as well.

He grinned and would ruffle her hair with his right hand before sliding it down to drape over her shoulders.
"Let's grab something to eat. What do you feel like? You earned it."

More than content, she grinned and would walk alongside him and pause only long enough to grab her shoes and socks to carry them in one hand.
"Pasta sounds amazing. Do we have the stuff for Alfredo still?" Because that would be about what it takes for a perfect day.
