Get in the Tank! (Daniel/Nova)

[Sir Galahad]

"Excellent."

The following sounds would be akin to someone writing on a clipboard.

"If you would, please exit the door and proceed to the training area."

The door would then open on it own revealing access to what looked like a small gym.

"One of you on each side of the room, I don't want either of you being affected by any possible splash damage."

[Gunslinger]

"Yes sir..."

Daniel gets up, then makes sure his gown is closed.

Then heads into the room, looking around.

"Alright..."

He heads to the far side of the room!

[Novocaine]

Nova kicks her legs over to get up with no clear sign of worry about where her gown decides to flap to.

"Splash damage, huh? Sounds exciting."

If it's enough of a worry to get hit by it, she can only imagine what it is.

Once in the gym, she heads for the other side of the room, starting to stretch her limbs a bit as she waits for more instruction.

[Sir Galahad]

Once on their sides of the gym, they would find their equipment so that they could get redressed and armed.

"We have just upgraded your battle forms. So, to start this test please shift into your battle forms first stage."

[Gunslinger]

Daniel does as he's instructed, shifting into his battle form immediately.

"Oh..."

He can already feel the difference, and it makes him smile beneath his mask.

When in Battle Form, Daniel is able to change the element type of all projectiles within a 20ft radius of himself to any other base element type. Costs 1 Qi use per post.

Battle Form Level 2 - When Daniel changes the element type of a projectile, it gains a bonus effect depending on what element it transforms into. For example, Lightning would lower the foe's speed by 20%, Poison would lower the foe's defense by 20%, Fire would increase the damage of the projectile by 20%, etc.

Nova transforms into her own battle form, glancing at her arms and hands and seeing that so far it's all the same. Which makes sense.

Ability 1: Nova's body turns into Diamond, granting her 75% of her energy as more defense.

[Sir Galahad]

"Very good, now, please feel free to test your abilities."

With that dummies would appear from out of the wall. In Nova's case they could move and would attack at her, they wouldn't be harmful but they were meant to help her test her defensive abilities. For Daniel his dummies would move quickly and at random intervals so they would be more challenging to hit, and so he could test the full range of his abilities.

Daniel would take his time to aim and fire at each dummy, deciding to shift his projectiles into different elements as he does so.

Once he gets to lightning, he notices a distinct change in the speed of the dummies.

"...so that's it. This has potential."

Nova's diamond skin would sprout spikes as dummies approached her, and she would slip her feet into a more stable stance as she let them hit her, feeling as though there was another energy there as well.

"There's something else there...I can feel it. Like an energy coating over the shell." She would say, moving around so the dummies had to chase her more, but always falling into a defensive stance when they reached her so she could let them hit the spikes. Like her first form, they were very sturdy.

Ability 2: Nova's Diamond skin now grows spikes, these spikes deal 20% of her eng in Dmg to anyone that touches them, they are also able to reflect 20% of any Qi based attack back at the user that attacked her.

[Sir Galahad]

"Interesting..."

Next the dummies would begin to attack Daniel, and Nova's dummies would start firing Qi projectiles at her.

[Gunslinger]

Oh shit.

Daniel starts trying to dodge, because he doesn't have the same tankiness Nova has!

[Novocaine]

Nova tries to dodge at first, trying to figure out what the power she was feeling meant.

But after two close calls she'd cross her arms in front of her, looking to block the shot! And...surprise as it bounced back at the dummy who shot her.

"Oho, I see~!"

The dummies continue to horde after Daniel and Nova. However, Nova would feel like there was still a part herself holding back. As if she wasn't applying her full potential... It too ached to be revealed.

[Gunslinger]

Daniel goes to fire at one of the closest dummies, aiming to hit it from the side!

[Novocaine]

Nova was briefly surprised by there being yet another surprise in store for her. If it wasn't her reflective abilities, then it had to be something different.

Without stopping her blocking, she could close her eyes and exhale, trusting her instincts in figuring out what this other power was...and how to unleash it.
