"Heir Asiv believes it vould be better received from one of your own. Violet, if you vould."

And like that the jacket Winters was wearing would morph into a woman wearing a suit standing next to Agent Winters. She would scan Azure with her red eyes and bow his head in greeting.

"There is a sanctuary we can call home, but as you can already assume there are stipulations to our existence. We do not leave the land we are given or interfere in things that happen there when it comes to Cabal's people. We can train, love, build, grow... But, we are under watch. We can become Agents of Cabal if we wish for a life like that, and to aid those of us who have Project programming cope. It isn't ideal, but you know the alternative. Running, hiding, being hunted. I can't tell you what denying this offer will lead to, I can only tell you our village has prospered from this deal."

[Lucifer]

"And so you would ask us to leave the life we have begun to build here? Taming lands that were untamable and unwanted to live a life under supervision?"

He kept his eyes on Violet, sizing her up.

"Do you remember your facility and time within it?"

[Allison Kazim]

It sounded like a decent offer, even if part of it made Ali uncomfortable. They had already built a life here, and now were being asked to give it up. At the same time, they had already faced violence and been pushed back to a place where everyone had to eek out a life. But they'd already struggled so hard. In a place close to the borders where anyoen could come along and see who lived here, or cause trouble. Case in point: the bandits.

The mage opened her mouth to ask a question, but shut it when Azure asked on instead! She'd let them have their moment first.

[Zack Asiv]

Violet would fold her arms.

"I know what I ask... I remember my facility, my Wardens, and my life within."

[Lucifer]

"Then you remember no matter the freedoms given to you in the facility you were still a prisoner. And the freedom given could be taken away should they not like what they see."

It didn't sound a lot like freedom to him.

"And when do you need an answer to your offer?"

[Allison Kazim]

Ali frowned at the vague but pointed description, giving Azure a thoughtful look. Even if the people here accepted them, what if they changed their mind or something happened?

“It’s a one time offer, isn’t it?” One chance to be peortedted but contained by a gilded cage.

[Zack Asiv]

"When the possibility of being forced by our own body to murder everyone and everything around us trapped in our own minds, to be without a check and balance would invite those capable of doing so to go after us and use us. I for one, will never be used like that again."

She would stare at him, though it wasn't anger or contempt, it was conviction.

"This is a one time offer as Trainee Kazim has said. However, due to good relations between our village and President Asiv he has promised to let us decide when the offer expires. I would like to say you can take your time, but due to Project Judgement's re-emergence and apparent ability of mind control of some kind the deadline is two weeks."

Winters simply stood and waited politely. This wasn't his deal anymore.

[Lucifer]

He nodded slowly.

"I will discuss it with our people and let them decide where their hearts lay."

[Allison Kazim]

Ali felt a piece of the tension she'd been holding on to fade as Violet advised there was a time limit, but not an immediate one. She'd been worried ever since it had been just Donovan and herself heading back that something would go horribly wrong, either some form or retaliation or something like it.

She exhales softly but looks to the other three in case there's any follow up she might interrupt.  Except she does.

"And now?"

[Zack Asiv]

Winters would raise his hand with an index finger.

"Now ve vait. Also ve need to inventory and account for all ze veapons."

Violet would nod.

"Yes, we should get on that. If you could show me to the cache please?"

Winters would open his PT and begin sending in his report, rather openly as it was just their location, the current status of events and that the cache has been located.

[Lucifer]

He clicked his tongue.

"That will not be possible. Since the last group, we encountered dispatched from Cabal decided to shake them around and treat them as toys, risking all of our lives. I had them disposed of. The weapons no longer exist."

[Allison Kazim]

Ali's eyelid twitched violently as she inhaled, knowing exactly what Azure referred to. She had only looked inside the box without touching, but whatever a Stinger was had been a little too casually handled for all their comfort.

"Disposed of how?"

[Zack Asiv]

Winters was busy laughing while Violet folded her arms and shook her head slightly.

"I see. I would also wish to know how they were disposed of, so I can report them officially destroyed."

[Lucifer]

"One of our own ate them."
