What.

Ali was pretty sure she had heard wrong with Agent Winters laughing as though something was genuinely funny and not some twisted irony, but the matter of fact statement was hard to miss. Her brows rose as she stared a moment in disbelief before shaking her head.

"...Ate them..."

She's going to need a minute.

[Zack Asiv]

Winters was genuinely losing his shit, he was crying laughing and could do little more than breath and point at the situation. Violet's left eye brow twitched.

"How do we confirm this?"

[Lucifer]

He shrugged.

"We didn't think to keep the shit for you. But you are welcome to dig around for it if you'd like."

[Allison Kazim]

Well that was unexpected. Azure had been civil and even kind up to now for her and Donovan, but she was beginning to feel like the welcome was wearing thin. The fact Winters was laughing was generally not helping, but if he wasn't pushing or more details, maybe that was something. Right?

She shook her head in silence for the moment, inclined to trust Azure but also feeling like her job redemption was on the line.

It was not a fun feeling.

"I trust him."

[Zack Asiv]

Winters would calm himself and wipe his eyes free of the welling tears before nodding and shrugging. Violet would death glare him a bit before looking back at Azure.

"Is there anyway you could write a manifest of some kind, or list the weapons and things you could recognize?"

[Lucifer]

"I can do that provided you have something to write with and on. We only traveled with what we needed to survive and try to create a home where we could live in peace. Paper wasn't deemed essential."

[Allison Kazim]

"We should have something in the car." Assuming Winters or Violet couldn't produce or magically turn into said paper as well as a jacket. She'd have to ask them about that later.

Unless stopped, Ali goes to the jeep to get the thing! Even if it's just insurance or registration papers.

[Zack Asiv]

They nod at Ali to go ahead and go grab the paper and pencil.

[Lucifer]

He would take the paper and pen and write a list of the weapons that were consumed. The vast majority of the weapons consumed were explosive in nature. Dynomite and Rockets mostly. Though of note, there was also a flamethrower and fuel. Once finished he would hand it back to Ali.

"Is there anything else that you require?"

[Allison Kazim]

Ali takes the list with a nod of thanks, looking over it for the sake of posterity, but as she said, she trusted Azure. She would hand the list to Violet, who seemed to be more into the interrogation than Winters. Meanwhile, the mage was a little considered that the person who ate these ate fuel...

[Zack Asiv]

Violet would inspect the list as Winters took the lead again.

"Nien, I can not say zer is more to do besides vait for your response. Is zer a location ve can meet to obtain your answer?"

Violet would furrow her brows before butting in.

"Were these explosives not inert?"

[Lucifer]

"I suppose that depends on how many people you will be bringing to receive the answer. If it is the three of you, we can do it near one of the existing settlements. But if you plan to bring a whole platoon of soldiers then I suspect somewhere more isolated would be better so you do not scare the villagers."

His gaze turned to Violet.

"They were indeed live explosives. The bandits had used them to create suicide bombers of the hostages. We healed the ones we could, however, there is little we can do if someone has been blown to bits."

[Allison Kazim]

"I can confirm that the weapons were live," Ali agreed quietly, fingers rubbing where the hole in her chest had been until it had been healed.

"The explosives were used against my partner, and the hostages that were saved were in one piece when we checked on them before returning to the academy. I also can confirm a different weapon was used against me. More than once."

[Zack Asiv]

Violet and Winters share a knowing glance before she folds the paper and tucks it away in her own jacket.

"I see."

Winters would nod and head back to the car. Violet would remain to speak.

"Trainee Kazim will likely be sent to hear the response. Something has suddenly come up and we have to look into it."

[Lucifer]

"That is agreeable."

He'd say, raising a brow at their reaction, and sudden shift of interest. Though he could not blame them, the fact that the weapons were live was something to be concerned about.
