He'd shift back a little and mirror the stance. Letting the energy flow through his body, but rather than expel it as smoke he would channel it through his palm until he could feel something. Then like instructed he would try and grab it and pull it free!

He grips the handle to a sword and rips it free of his hand, the numbness and burning going away. And the symbol now blatantly visible on his palm for all to see! "That is the blade of a Shikenshi. A Death Swordsman. Or so we have come to call it. There are three others besides you with this power. We are not one hundred percent sure what causes it or the requirements for it. Each sword is different, each power is different, but the tells are all the same. The symbol, the blue fire from summoning the swords, and them being produced from a battle with a Qi beast."
Zap Dragon Blade: A sword with blue flame summoned from the palm of Cillian holds in it the power of the Zap Dragon. Costing one Qi use per post to summon it can then fire Blade Beams with each slash of electricity. These blade beams do Cillians Energy on damage. (Does not use a Qi use to fire a blade beam, as long as the sword is maintained it's power can be used.

He wasn't sure how to take the news that he could do something so rare. There was a part of him that was excited by the opportunity, but he could hear a more cautious part of him reminding him how dangerous unknown power could be. All the same, he'd give the blade a few practice slashes.

Well, there was one down.
"As you wish."
He said widening his stance and channeling his Qi through the blade, slashing at him letting loose a blade beam of electricity.
Qi use 4/23

Chris would also slash destroying the center portion of the electric blade slashing for him. It missing him and leaving slice marks in the obsidian where it landed. Chris would look at them with wide eyes. His Seikatsugan eye moving almost too fast for Cillian to keep up with as it scanned and analyzed and focused on everything.

That meant normally, from what they knew it was more defensive. He wondered if it was because of how many of the Qi beasts he was forced to slay, or if it was a result of the tense moment against the final one.

"We believe that there is room for evolution, growth, or advancement. As it is tied to Qi energy. It is also unlike other abilities that drain you as you use it's power, instead this drains from existing and is almost unlimited in it's power use as long as you can maintain it."
