He'd preface his answer, explaining what it was he could do. Letting her catch up on what he knew so far.
"So the way I figure there are two ways this can go. Either I'm already infected or whatever, and the progress and growth will come from me. Or it is a result of the blood of the Qi beast. It would be easier if it's already in me however." He'd rather not go slaughtering Qi beasts if he didn't have to.
"So I think trying to change how I use the ability is a good first step. I grabbed the first thing I could think of, my sword in the initial test. But what about other objects. A shield perhaps? That would give me a defensive option. Does it have to be from my hand where the mark is or can the opening be expanded? Could I form armor? And it makes me question how connected I am to the Qi beast who I now share blood with. If this blade is of their essence, how much of them is still inside of me? Could I form it again? And if it has a will, can I reach out to it?"
He shifted in his chair.
"They didn't mention anything along these lines, I am sure they are looking into some of if not all of them. But they may be worth our time. At least I think so."
He wanted to know her thoughts!
