"I was going to inform her of what I learned after talking to the old man. And see if she would be willing to help me out. I've decided to go to the old ruins. I feel... I hope, that I might find some answers. But I can't go without a guide."

"I ask the old man for answers and he told me to look out into the bog and asked me what I saw. I told him that I saw a plain forest and the ruins which seemed interesting to me. He suggested that this might be where I could find the answers I seek."
Drake contemplated telling the good doctor that the old man even acknowledged that Drake was from another world... but he highly doubted that would work in his favor. So for now, he would keep that to himself.
