Mental Information

Personality: Confident and optimistic, Brianna knows there's bad in the world, but a lot of good, too; it's just buried under all the scars on the surface as people try to rebuild their lives. She knows anyone can make a difference, and knows what she wants for herself without question. She dreams of being a hero like the stories she grew up with and make the better world a better place than it was. Rambunctious and proud. She dreams of making a difference in the world and achieving greatness, her name remembered throughout history. Happy to help others, she does her best to try to find a silver lining in even the hardest times, and is more than happy to be friends with everyone. She honors loyalty and honesty, holding herself to the standards she wants to see from others.

There are times even she gets down, however, and when that happens, one can quickly discover that Brianna has disappeared on them, wandering on her own in whatever city or town she's in or a quiet spot in nature.

History Information

History: Growing up in Territory 259, Brianna knew two things from early childhood: small town living and the glory of the heroes of the Great War. Regaled by the heroics her father saw when he had fought in the war, she was exposed to dreams of glory as well as their price every time she saw his missing leg. But the man saw her face fall and would encourage her to follow her dreams – and to always be prepared for everything every day she went out into the world. Her mother was a rising starlet and beauty queen before the world fell apart, and they grew up in relative peace in their village in one of Cabal's northernmost territories in what used to be eastern Washington. It gave them renown in the small area, but popularity didn't bring money, shelter, or food on the table; not without charity. Her father made a living crafting and bending metal to his will, teaching her how to do the same with clay as she worked alongside him and listened to his stories, not just of glory, but how he met her mother, of life before his time at school and the times with his siblings. She never questioned why she never heard about her grandparents, instead focusing on the present and learning some of her mother's dramatic flair.

Qi was hardly unheard of, but still rare due to the small population. One thing she knew from the time she could remember was how big and amazing the world was, rarely finding it scary without prompting from her older brother. She wanted to see the places she had heard of and the ones she hadn't, the marks of history and days past. Not to mention the rest of the world as it was, to see it for herself, and make a difference for others. To give them hope when times seemed to always be falling down, and she succeeded to become an icon of her hometown.

Brianna's family believed in their ability to defend themselves, and she learned along with her brothers how to handle herself in a fight. The night she discovered she had a qi of her own was the night a young rampaging qi beast broke into village, enraged by a pair of young hunters who sought to take down the threat that had blocked trade routes. She joined the others defending the village, then closer, distracting the beast and taking it on to drive it away from her home. It left her with a scar on her right shoulder where it bit down and dragged her, but she was the victor with a bloody qi beast pelt when she returned home that night. Her father reached out to others of their clan afterward, and she was soon sent to Cabal. She was ready to learn, to be even better than she was and to take on whatever else the world threw at her.

One of the clearest memories she has is the way her heart fluttered in her chest the first time she held it, and she carries the same blade she received when she left the village, a symbol of her father's blessing and the family's legacy.

They didn't realize she was going out to start her own.

Head: Duplicators Shades (+22 ENG): Brianna can use her visual prowess through these shades to increase the effects of her Eye of Earth abilities by +8 up to four times a thread, she can also use these shades to create a perfect clone of herself anywhere she can see up to four times a thread. The clone has her stats, but only has 1 Def. These abilities count as separate abilities and do not share uses.

Chest: Mando Armor (+12 Def) - The Mando Armor is ancient, in some cases hundreds of years old. Some ancient clan of people fused crystals together and formed metal around it for some of the most durable armor ever made. It's technique of creation lost to history, but in this time of Qi and hand-to-hand combat it's usefulness has become far more prevalent.

Brooch of Tenacity (ADD-ON): Attack +2 Once per thread, by channeling her energy through her brooch, Brianna can become immune to an opponent’s disabling ability for two posts. This includes being locked out of a Qi ability/Hole in the soul/Item use. Does not include being restrained/held captive physically.

Pill of Mental Acuity (Consumable): Once taken, this pill grants the user +5 to Insight for a GM required roll. Afterwards, the user gains a permanent +1 to Persuasion and Insight, as well as their respective stat caps.

Jedi Holocron (Permanent Consumable): The Jedi Holocron is a device created while in tune to the natural energy flow of everything around you. Focusing on the Holocron can grant you wisdom spoken to you in the voice of someone whom your character respects. This wisdom grants you +24 added to your perception stat, and allows you to add your Perception Divided by 1/2 minus 10 to any GM required roll. Effect lasts 3 post

Foxx can give Brianna his bandanna which creates a shield of energy around her with the Durability of her energy stat before it's destroyed.

Foxx can cause Brianna to Bull Rush a target adding +16 to her Atk and Spd stat for the attack, four times a thread. If used to get through a wall or door, or an obstacle Brianna suffers no negative effects and destroys the target obstacle/door/wall.

Foxx can light up a cigarette and breath out a noxious cloud of smoke that covers an area making it difficult to see through burning peoples eyes and lungs doing Brianna's energy in damage for four posts.

Qi & Abilities

Qi Name: Brave Heart - Based on the purity of Brianna's belief and determination, she is able to embody the ideal heroes of old.

Strengths: Brianna's qi allows her the versatility to attack, protect others, and offer some mild healing.

Weaknesses: Most of the abilities listed below are restricted to close or mid-range at best. She needs to be able to see those she is aiding, or they need to be able to hear her in case of auditory abilities. Uses at long range either have a very low success rate, or cannot be done.

Zero Ability: Inner Strength – Each strike that Brianna lands on an target tags them with a small qi mark that she is able to follow. Marked targets receive full effect of her qi abilities, and additional marks are needed for stronger abilities. These marks last for the duration of the thread.

_____Upgraded Zero Ability (Inherited): Brianna's visor now allows her to add +8 to defense and +8 to attack. (Inherited zero ability does not require a qi mark.)

Ability #3: Inspiration - By giving an encouraging word to an ally, Brianna is able to boost a chosen stat to the ally by 199% her eng. If giving a speech (three or more sentences IC), she is able to buff a single stat to those in a 20 ft radius around her by 100%.

Ultimate Ability: Legends Never Die - Once per thread, Brianna can fully heal herself of all injuries received in the thread and restore half of her max UP. These additional points are considered a bonus and do not count towards additional UP unlocks.

Bloodline: Eye of Earth
Brianna's bloodline allows her to work with energy disruptions on a molecular level, giving her the flexibility of aiding others or herself as well as attacking. Distance greatly affects her chances of success; she must either be able to see what is happening, or have direct physical touch.

Zero Ability: Aura Sight – When activated, Brianna can see the energy of the natural world and those in it, as well as their compared strengths. This gives her a general idea without exact numbers, and allows her insight of +8 PER, +8 ENG.

Other Abilities

Rebirth of the Sun [Qi Mutation]: Activating this ability covers you in solar fire for a few seconds in a sudden inferno that envelopes you. This can heal all of your wounds every time it's activated however it lowers all of your stats by -5. Does not restore lost stamina.
