[Cara Dunn]

"No, someone forced their way in through the front door.  They probably had the snake with them."

More importantly, those were a lot of titles in one breath. Cara blinked, trying to put the pieces together.

"So if you're an honor guard for someone else, why are you here?" Weird. Unless there was a new Ares that no one wanted to announce to the world. From what little she knew of the gods, other than they were powerful and the territory was a Cabal protectorate like her own, that wasn't likely.

[Xapham]

"Ares is also known as the Earth Dragon Mathew. The Dragons and Crows were... acquaintances back during the war. It's likely that when he caught wind of the situation he sent someone he trusted to find out what was going on. That is one guess anyways."

Xapham would look into the keyhole to see if he could see anything!

[Lucifer]

"The reason I am here is knowledge that is above your station."

Gemini retorted, not correcting or commenting on Xapham's explanation of Ares or the Dragons and Crows.

Xapham would see a few scratches next to the keyhole now that he knew what he was looking for. But as far as he could tell there was nothing unusual about the lock or keyhole.

[Cara Dunn]

"Riiight." Between Gemini's answer and lack of response to Xapham's guess, Cara's brow rose. Sounded like the boys probably had a better chance to poke that sleeping bear than she did. She wasn't sure why Xapham went back to the keyhole, cocking a hand on her hip as she waited to hear him results.

[Xapham]

"Does anyone have a light? It is possible that whoever picked this lock could have broken a pick inside. If so, that also may give is a clue as to who they are or maybe where they are from."

Xapahm would say standing up.

[Cain Rhamos]

"Hm."

Cain frowns.

"So who visited this girl, I guess is the question?"

[Lucifer]

"I don't make it my business to know the social goings-on of people I don't associate with."

Gemini replied gruffly, tapping their foot on the ground. This wasn't going anywhere.

Gemini does not offer a light either.

[Cara Dunn]

"Not a thing." Cara shook her head, also unable to make a light.

"I think the problem isn't who they knew, but who they upset, and if we can find a time of death to work with." Who knew how long the body had been there? Or, for that matter, how many people disliked the activist.

"If she was an activist, and official Crow, that's a lot of people to pick from."

[Xapham]

Xapahm rolled his eyes at Gemini's obvious lack of care.

"She couldn't have been dead for long. The body hasn't started to decompose yet, and the snake wouldn't have survived long without food or water. I'd guess the body is no more than a day old."

He would turn to Gemini.

"What do you think. You've seen your share of dead bodies. What's your take?"

[Cain Rhamos]

"Was there not anyone around here that's supposed to guard this person?"

Cain snorts.

"Anyone important that's not a part of this place should have a bodyguard."

[Lucifer]

"Investigating is not my job. I am just the person who was sent to check on her when she missed her meeting and found the body." Gemini glanced back at the corpse. "But yeah, I don't think it is rotten yet."

[Cara Dunn]

"Meeting?" Cara turned her attention to Gemini as her hand fell to her side again, cocking her head to the left. "What was the meeting for?"

[Cain Rhamos]

"Worthless."

Cain sighs.

[Xapham]

Xapham would just fold his arms and wait for an answer as well.

[Lucifer]

"With Lord Ares."

Gemini was getting annoyed that these agents couldn't grasp what Gemini thought was fairly obvious when they stated their position.

"If you want more information you will have to talk to Lord Ares himself. Is that all you need of me?"

Gemini asked, folding their arms over their chest. Gemini was fed up with this.
