"Just to see if there might be anything left behind of whoever caught it." She shook her head. As much as she loved animals and qi beasts alike, there were certain times you dind't tango with them. Like nesting.
"I'm not hear to upset them, just to try to figure out what I can. I think I have a good start, though, thanks to you." She offered Hunter a smile. "I'll buy you a drink for it before I head out." It sounded like she'd need to poke around Territory One if she didn't hear from the others.

"Name's Cara Dunn. I'm from Saeta, but you're best off sending them to Cabal's Academy for a while." She'd give him the detailed address.

With hands that big, she didn't doubt it.
"I'll keep that in mind." It felt nice to smile again, and not be surrounded by the horrors of war or people who just...she'd never seen qi like that before. Where they were horrified of themselves, never mind what the rest of the world thought of them.
"It was nice to meet you, Hunter. Tell your dad hi for me." She'd need to follow up with teh boys and see what they discovered before figuring out her next move. For now, she knew that whoever had planted the snake in the apartment had gone through an awful lot of trouble to pick the specific snake instead of just any kind or any poison. Question now was who sent the message?

"I'll do that. Good luck with your snake thing and just... be safe. Ya know? Qi beasts are dangerous and all, and the one in your box is a doozy. But people, people can be pretty fucked up."

"Don't worry, I'll be careful," she promised with a smile. Qi beasts were dangerous, but it was people that could surprise you the most, good or bad. She had no intention of being on the end of a bad surprise from whoever murdered the diplomat.
Waving farewell to Hunter and ensuring the container was closed and secured, she would continue on to the next part of the investigation, using her pT to reach out to Cain and Xapham about meeting them at Cabal as planned with information.
