Unless they got it back that is. He was pretty much ignoring Cain for his own benefit, Cain's ignorance was embarrassing enough as it was, without calling further attention to it.

"Every soul is different child. They all shine in different ways."
Hermes features softened as he floated closer. Tapping at her chest with his staff. A gentle glowing light lifting from her chest between the group.
"Some souls are hearty and strong. They fight and adapt at every corner."
The light began to flicker, dimming and growing weaker before suddenly flaring brighter than before.
"Others shine bright and seem all-powerful, unstoppable. But can be swept aside by their own uncertainty and doubts."
The light crumbled to a cloud of glowing dust that would sweep past Cain, dancing on the wind before forming once more above the trio.
"Others are small, easy to miss. Unexceptional. The common soul."
He pointed his staff at the light which would push itself back into Stigma.
"What will happen depends upon you and your soul."

It was still hard for her to understand what that would mean in terms of her own soul. What did souls even do? She didn't know. She understood the explanation in terms of their potential but it still felt like she didn't have the full picture.
Once the light show was over, she would gaze down in thought. She didn't want to appear any more ignorant, so she felt it may be best to learn as it happens.
Or doesn't, perhaps.
"I see. I will try my best to learn and understand what that all means for me. I only have one more question, then. Can it be dangerous?"

He's pretty sure his soul is the first one.
