"Well, I don't want to say its possessed or anything, but, you said you don't have Qi. And you went into a weird berserker state. Does that USUALLY happen to you? Do you black out every time you fight?"
Considering Qi wasn't a huge thing here, she was having a harder time figuring out what it could be. When you can't just assume something has a Qi crystal in it, or it's someone's own power, what the heck CAN you blame weird shit on?

“But I take it the weird veins on it were a pretty good indication. And If not then...”
She looks over at Kyrie.
“Its an ability from your Qi sprite. It looked pretty freaked out that you were hurt though, I wouldn’t think it’d put you in a state where that would get worse.”

She wasn’t sure what to compare them to...

“She’s maybe from here.” Kaia would say, not really an expert on Qi or sprites.
“But I’d wager that snow globe probably came from my world somehow...”
But...how? Maybe someone from the ark had that sort of ability? Or were things dropping here from her world still? Maybe there was a path...somewhere...a rift. A tear?
She was getting ahead of herself though...but the theory was giving her hope.

Adelaide would look back and fourth from one end of the alley to the next, and scoffed as she laid down on the ground again.
"Luckily, you had a way to heal me. Otherwise I'd be screwed. For all that want to kick my ass to get arrested you could've at least made sure there were TSI agents around, or at the very least a some witnesses..."
