[Adelaide]

"What's wrong?"

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie shook her head and turned away slightly. They couldn't look Adelaide in the eye, not anymore.

"I'm just having an off day." She muttered, almost to herself. It was a believable statement, but it wasn't entirely true.

[Adelaide]

"Well, what's wrong? I sometimes get those, maybe I can help? Sometime's just talking helps me, and I'm willing to listen if you need?"

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie shook her head. For once, she seemed adamant about something.

"I don't think you'll like me anymore if you do."

[Adelaide]

Adelaide put her hand on her hip.

"Listen, hon, I have yet to make up my opinion about you, but what I can say for certain is that, especially after saying that, keeping secrets is NOT a good way to get me to like you."

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie hesitated, slowly nodding while she thought about it. The voices in her head were getting worse. Pretty soon, she'd start seeing them again. She sighed, abruptly plopping down on the dirt, adjusting her skirt slightly before leaning her head into the pole Adelaide attacked.

She hated talking about herself, especially her...problems, but she wanted to make a friend today, at the very least.

"I... hear voices that aren't mine," She started, staring off into nothing. "Sometimes I see people, and I'm not sure if they're real or not."

[Adelaide]

Adelaide's eyes went wide! That... was just like- Then as if summoned by the the thought a small Kyrie would pop out.

"Oh Hello."

Kyrie would say to Xowie.

"Are you one of Adelaide's friends too?"

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie shrieked as the tiny woman appeared, hitting the back of her head on the pole. She whimpered and collapsed into the dirt, cupping her head in her hands.

Was this one of them!?

[Adelaide]

"Are you ok?!"

Adelaide called out running over to help Xowie up. Kyrie would wince.

"Oh... I'm, sorry I didn't mean to spoke you, I just... felt a strong pull here for a moment, am I not needed?"

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie's entire body shook as Adelaide tried to help her up. She held her eyes shut tightly, and slowly sat back up with Adelaide's help. She was sweating all over now.

[Adelaide]

"Hey hey, are you ok, talk to me..."

She asked as she held the girl so she didn't fall.

[Xowie Evil]

"Is it gone..." She whispered, unsure of if the small woman was her imagination or not.

[Adelaide]

Kyrie looked sad.

"Oh... I can leave if that's what you want..."

Adelaide would turn to Kyrie.

"I think that would be best for now. I'll see you when I get home, ok mom?"

Kyrie nodded.

"Of course dear. Stay safe."

With that the tiny woman would disappear.

[Xowie Evil]

"That tiny woman is your mother!?" Xowie's eyes widened, and she lightly clung to Adelaide to ensure she herself was not a hallucination. Despite her manic reaction, she was relieved to hear that Kyrie was not one of her own concoctions.

[Adelaide]

"Eh... sorta. It's a... long and complicated story..."

Adelaide sighed.
