Cain would find himself being forcefully ripped from wherever he was, falling through some kind of crack in reality. Visions flashed by his eyes of chains, darkness, unspeakable horrors along with a blinding and all consuming light. Feelings that were not his barraged him, longing, loss, hatred, pity, love, hope, and dread. When he landed it would be on his back among the rubble of some building, not one but two mount Olympus' before him. A giant chain piercing them together. Before him lay crumpled and familiar bodies. Or parts of them as most were ripped asunder. Entrails and viscera painting and draped over the rubble as he could spot bits of Harpy, Hermes, Medusa, and even Lord Zeus among many many others. Dionysus seemed to be the only one left standing here at the base of the mountain his goblet held in one hand while his free one glowed purple. The monster that he was facing off against was dripping with the blood of the slaughtered Gods, bits of hair and bone clinging to it's many claws and hands as it's tendrils and organs squished and squelched as it drew nearer to the lone God! |

"AAAAAAAAAH WHAT THE FUCK!?"
Cain falls through the floor, pulling his pants up from the quick trip to the bathroom he'd been making. By the time he lands on the ground, he's shaking from all the feelings he's experienced, barely managing to bring himself to his hands and knees before he sees... what's left...
"No. How is this possible...?"
His eyes continue traveling across the bodies, up until he sees one that's still alive, and what he currently faced.
He gets up quickly, sprinting towards the battle and immediately activating his God Right! He didn't expect the thing to be terrified, but if it was slaughtering Gods... well... he needed all the strength he could get.
"Dionysus! I'm here to help you!"
He shouts, attempting to at least get some idea of what they were facing.

Dion would call back in warning, slashing outward with his goblet, splashing the creature with wine as he took another step back just as lightning shot from the sky to where Dion had been standing just a moment ago.
Cain would feel a pain in his head as the wailing souls of the dead screamed and shriek in torment, a chilling attack directed at his very soul.

Cain takes note of the automatic reaction to Dionysus's attack, but soon finds himself falling to his knees again from the pain of the shriek! It feels like his soul is tearing itself apart, and he grabs his chest with one hand, panting. If he was going to be able to do anything, he needed a weapon. Cain reaches out with his senses, doing his best to 'feel' for any kind of armament that may be lying among the Gods' remains. It may be graverobbing, in a way, but if he was to avenge them, he needed their power. ----------

Cain can see the Minotaur's axe wedged into a wall, his severed hand still clutching the haft. Dion would hold his other hand out grasping at the creature and the liquid spilled upon it. The concoction would start to bubble and boil as Dion barely dodged another bolt of lightning. Though the liquid did not seem to have an immediate effect on the creature. The tendrils where intestines would be quivered as they began to spray out razor sharp feathers at both men. Dion getting sliced by some of them, being knocked to the ground, his goblet spilling and rolling out of reach. All the while the shrieks continued.

Cain throws down a shield as he sprints for the axe, his run becoming something of a stumble from the pain of the shriek. As painful as it was, he couldn't back off from this fight. Not even if the Elder Gods had been torn apart. He needed to save someone. Anyone. He wouldn't let Dionysus die. Cain grabs the handle of the axe, intending on yanking it free from the wall in order to swipe it in the air, sending a wave of energy towards the winged creature, aiming specifically for its eyes. It had to be strong, so aiming for something vulnerable was the only way he knew of to do any damage. While Dion was sliced and knocked down by the Harpy Feathers, the shield absorbed the ones in front of Cain buying him time to go for the axe! Wrenching it free he would be able to swing the formidable weapon despite Minotaur's severed hand and arm still clutching the haft. The energy wave erupted from the axe for the creature the blast slamming right into the face of the right one, specifically the eyes as intended.
The creature's shrieks intensified as blood would start to trickle out of Cain's ears. Dion remained prone on his back, holding up both hands toward the creature with his hands clenching the wine on the monster continuing to bubble and spread over the monstrosity. "My cup, drink from it!"
He'd call out through gritted teeth.
Lightning ripped from the sky, searing Dion's chest as it struck home, along with a bolt heading for Cain!
Feathers would not come this time, but rather something else seemed to happen as the creature's eyes began to darken on both faces, it's hands reaching down to rip off one of it's bone tendrils, hurling it up into the air!

Having seen it before, Cain does his best to try and dive out of the way of the lightning, attempting to land back behind his shield to prevent from being struck immediately. Whether he's hit or not, Cain shakily reaches into his pocket, shoveling... candy? into his mouth, before hastily sprinting for the cup Dionysus pointed for him. He drinks swiftly, fully trusting in whatever plan Dion has! ------------ Protaween Snacks! - These odd candy treats get shoveled into your mouth by the handfuls returning half the persons Qi uses and heals half the damage they have taken. 2 left

Another blast of lightning would strike Dion who let out a cry of pain, the Qi energy around his body flickering and wavering as he fought to stay in the game from his prone position.
The shield protects Cain from the lightning allowing him to eat his candy and drink from the Chalice. The liquid was sweet and intoxicating. It had elements of the ambrosia that he'd consumed to obtain his God power. He could feel the power within him growing, a spark of the divine as the drink attempted to cloud his mind and identity. Questions asking who he was were however quickly squashed as Cain's sense of self held strong! While he was Deimos, he was more than that. He was Cain Rhamos and no one else was going to die today if he had anything to say about it.
The shrieking's persisted but he'd find that they no longer seemed to hurt him, they were a background noise, annoying but no worse than flies buzzing around him. More than that he felt stronger, a lot stronger and his aura of power would grow in intensity!
Dion uses his God Ultimate Ability! Drink of the Gods! Those that drink from his chalice when this ability is activated have all healing and support effects doubled. They roll a D100 and add the number to all of their stats for the thread, their base Qi is fully unlocked if it isn't already. May cause madness and requires a roll to defend against.
Cain regains all of his Qi uses and Health! The candy being boosted by the drink!
All of Cain's stats are raised by 96 for the thread!
Cain fights back against the Madness so successfully that he will automatically pass his next madness roll if he reminds the GM!
All of Cain's weaponmaster Qi can be used this thread as if they were unlocked!

The drink was more than Cain had ever dreamed of, and he can't help but lick his lips as he brings the cup back down from his mouth. His glare at the creature has a newfound sharpness to it, his hand grips the minotaur's axe ever so tightly, and he grits his teeth. "This right here is as far as you go." It's more than just a threat, it's a promise to both himself and the monster. He goes to leap right over his own shield, swiping the axe to send another, much larger wave of energy towards the creature horizontally, as if to try and cut it in half! Cain is able to cleave the monster in half with seeming ease as it falls to the ground, no lightning strike coming from the ground and the shrieks of the dead dying down!

....something was wrong.
Cain immediately looks up to see where the tendril had gone that the creature had thrown, while stepping to the side to head towards Dionysus. He needs to make sure the other God is alright, but not open himself up to attack at the same time.

It would not take long to confirm that something was indeed wrong. Not only was Dion's breathing unsteady with the smoke rising from the charred parts of his body, but he could hear the squelching at the two halves of the creature began to regenerate each half becoming it's own entity! More than that he could feel himself being pulled toward the creature. Not physically, but his essence.
PHASE 2
Monster Ability Aspect of the Hydra - Whenever a part of the Endless Hunger's body is removed more will take it's place or grow anew!
God Right Activated! Hodr: The Endless Hunger now has unerring accuracy but is blind.
Consuming Hunger! The Endless Hunger is now consuming abilities and potential to sustain itself!
Cain loses 9 holes in his soul that could be filled with Qi!

Cain gasps, holding his chest as he feels his very soul get altered.
As long as the creature is regenerating, Cain takes the opportunity to feed Dionysus his candy!

Dion's breathing steadies as he picks himself up off his back and gets back on to his feet. Grabbing the chalice and raising up a hand once more only for... nothing to happen!
The creature's regeneration is quickly completed as two versions of it were now before the duo of Gods. The one on the right would stare intently at Cain with it's eyes while it's clawed hands extended out to try and grab him!
The one on the left would do the same to Dion!
