A vegetarian option sounded best, and Avalon was ready to have Leif elaborate when Nova mentioned sweets. Something reminiscent of home.
"Thank you, Daniel." She'd add a tea bag and hot water to her mug, letting it steep as she turned her attention to Nova.
"From the old world? What kinds?"

Leif smiled up at Daniel, taking her glass of water in one hand. She kept her attention mostly focused on the conversation,however, equally as curious as Avalon.

The vegetarian options were going to have to wait until next time. Avalon gave a small half chuckle, nodding at the warning. It would be hard to imagine they could match some of the delicacies from home, but she coudln't deny that she was curious to see if Nova could match some of the simpler ones.
"It's fine. It''s difficult to travel the whole of the Territories." She mentally stopped as she realized she'd slipped back into referring to their world as if it still existed. In some part of her mind, she knew it had to, but it still hurt to think about.
"I'm excited to see what you might have for Ayatlan."

Avalon nodded as Nova and Daniel headed over to grab their order, turning her attention back to Leif while they waited.
"Thank you for showing me this place." Even if she hadn't tried to the food yet, the atmosphere was pleasant enough for her to remember it for the future.

"Of course. It gives you a place to go to, and brings more business in for those two. It's a win-win, as far as I'm concerned." Leif offered the girl a smile before taking a sip of her water. It gave her the time to think, to pause and really consider what she wanted to say.
