Just a Beach... Right? (Yanmei/Open)

[Sage Sudeki]

Folding his arms with a sly grin he'd tilt his chin up.

"I'll show you mine, if you show me yours."

[Qi Yanmei]

"Oh, are you having a little performance anxiety?" she asks, sounding overly sympathetic.

"I suppose I can take the lead if it'll soothe your nerves."

She'd open her palm in front of her, as if she was presenting him something, and then a large dark ball of energy would form. About the size of her head.

"It's not much. I haven't really learned what I'm capable of short of this one ability. I haven't had to fight for my life much, in any case." she shrugs. "But it packs a punch and slows the target down so it's useful."

She could have just smacked him with it but that wasn't proper.

Binding Sphere- Yanmei tosses a sphere of dark energy, dealing 100% of her energy in damage and slowing the target by 5.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Ohhh, thats cool."

Spike would bend over and look at it trying to inspect it's properties, though he wasn't analytical like his dad, he couldn't really pick it apart like that. He just liked the way it looked.

"Alright."

He'd take a step back. He'd tense for a moment with a slight grunt before his body erupted with a black flame like aura. black and purple plasma crackling around his limbs harmlessly. There was some sort of wind or force that wasn't effecting anything else other than his trunks and hair the aura seemed to effect.

"I call it a battle aura, makes me faster and stronger as long as I can maintain the flow of energy."

Zero Ability: Battle Aura - The user is covered in a black flame like aura that enhances Str, and Spd by the user's energy.

[Qi Yanmei]

Her eyes widen in interest and she she'd give him an applause.

"An improvement in performance AND a dramatic flare, I have to admit I'm jealous." she says, floating towards him to kinda bat at the aura affecting his hair, just to see how 'real' it was. Plus it was fun.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would maintain it while she messed around with the flames. It probably felt like there was pressure, like sifting your hand through the wind of a box fan.

"Well I do enjoy the dramatic flare."

[Qi Yanmei]

She liked it! After a few more wiggles of her fingers against the pressure, she'd back off. Although, maybe a bit reluctantly.

"It's cute. Like a kitty cat fluffing up." she giggles.

That's right. She's comparing him to a cat.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Well as long as you promise to feed, water, and give me plenty of love when I want it, sure."

He'd chuckle as the aura went away, folding his arms again.

"And as you guessed I'm skilled at using two swords while I fight. Other than that, it's pretty much just adapting to the situation."

[Qi Yanmei]

"Don't tempt me, I'd gladly keep you."

She'd look at the swords again when he spoke of fighting, reminded of how much Katsu liked those things, too. That man would carry 20 swords on him if he could find enough places to attach them.

"I can't do much with fighting. When I think about what I can probably do, I always think it's likely assist others in doing better. But that's just a feeling."

[Sage Sudeki]

"Keep it up and I might just follow you like a stray."

He'd nod along to her explanation and speak with a bit of enthusiasm.

"Support is one of the most important roles in any battle. I wouldn't of lived through most of what I did without someone watching my back and helping out."

[Qi Yanmei]

"Aww, I appreciate the encouragement. In truth, I'm quite happy if that's my role. It would be suitable. My concern is with how little I've learned in the decade or so I've been alive."

She crosses her arms and frowns.

"I think I may have gotten too comfortable with being protected. I haven't improved at all. Or maybe I just haven't figured out HOW I'm supposed to improve. Hmmm, questions, questions."

[Sage Sudeki]

Well that got awkward fast! She's only ten years old Spike! Way to go! You are going to jail!

"You're only ten years old? Is that part of your Qi mutation?"

Now he was heavily confused and not listening to the rest of what she said.

[Qi Yanmei]

"Eleven." she corrects, as if that's any better.

She doesn't seem to really get the question.

"What do you mean 'Qi mutation'? Are you calling me a mutant?" she pouts.

"I know I'm different than other sprites but I wouldn't call me a mutation. That sounds so ugly!"

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would face palm at the correction of age and drag his hand down his face to his chin when she asked if he was calling her a mutant. Though when she said Sprite he raised an eye brow.

"Your a Qi Sprite?"

Spike said astonished.

"I've not seen one like you before, wow. I recently hatched one myself."

He'd hold his hand out and a small white wolf-dog would float in his palm and howl proudly.

"His name is Riesling."

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei looks down at it, patting it with her finger.

"Awww. I hope you get as big as a bus as well little puppy~." she'd giggle before looking back at Sage.

"You probably haven't seen one like me because I'm currently one-of-a-kind. I wasn't lying about that you know? Everyone keeps saying their qi sprites came from an egg, but I came out of Katsu. I guess he's my egg."

[Sage Sudeki]

"Well that is unique at least. This Katsu guy sounds interesting as well. Have you guys been able to find a place to feel comfortable, jobs?"

He wasn't sure why he cared, but he hoped they were doing better in this world than in the last one.
