So As You Can See, It's Awful. (Kaia)

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain is in the process of bringing Kaia around Olympus, showing what's... well, left of their Gods' territory.

"There's a lot of people missing, so I don't exactly know who's left. But for the most part, you've seen everyone. Except the other Ares, I think."

[Kaia Galanos]

It was definitely bad, but, in a way she'd expected way worse. There were still people alive. Some of the planet was still alive.

So long as it wasn't a completely dead area, there was hope.

"It's not unsalvageable. But there's not a lot of muscle left." she'd admit.

[Cain Rhamos]

"To be honest, that's partly why I'm glad you're here."

Cain laughs slightly, nodding.

"It'll make it a bit easier, I bet."

[Kaia Galanos]

She tries hard not to think of it as fake...like a pity compliment. The kind you give your younger sibling even though they're failing hard at helping you with a task. You just smile at them and thank them and say you couldn't have done it without them. Keep their spirits up.

"I'm another body." she'd say kinda simply, having another look around with a frown.

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain snorts.

"More than that."

He glances at whatever she's looking at too, then shrugs.

"I'm hoping we can find the Fates, but to be honest... I don't remember where they are."

[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia gives a hard sigh through her nose at that news, a small sign of the cranky girl that's still there underneath the apathy.

"If YOU don't, with the knowledge you should have gotten as a God, how are we supposed to find them now?"

She certainly had no idea where to find them.

[Cain Rhamos]

"Well, I didn't exactly get a lot of knowledge as a God."

Cain scowls. Of course... some of that might be due to the fact he immediately left after earning it.

"I figure we can either ask someone, or keep looking around. It can't be THAT hard."

[Kaia Galanos]

Her eyes narrow in annoyance, put she just motions with her hand for him to pick one or the other and go ahead. The Gods were more likely to answer him in the first place.

And if he chose to go searching, then he should be able to start sensing them or something, right?

[Cain Rhamos]

"Did you have an opinion?"

He asks, frowning.

[Kaia Galanos]

"It'd probably be smarter to ask. If someone knows, that saves time. If they don't, we're not exactly worse off." she says.

"But if you already have and inkling, then follow it."

[Cain Rhamos]

"I only know roughly where the Death Gods are, and that doesn't help."

He shrugs.

"Let's go find someone."

[Kaia Galanos]

Gods he was useless sometimes.

"Fine by me."

[Lucifer]

While the worst of the devastation was over, the rebuilding was slow. Casualties had been heavy and mutations and monsters not from this world were a constant threat now. Much of what God territory once was lay in ruins and the effort of rebuilding it was a long slow road ahead. Still, the territory was laid out in much the same way as before, with different factions having their districts. Though there were always exceptions and irregularities as the Gods were fickle. Where do they begin their search?

Well, the best that Cain could guess was to head to the Greek remnants to see who was still around.

The Fates were Greek, so they'd likely have the best idea, so that's where he heads!
