She's not paying too much attention to the anti-God speeches. Even is she doesn't like it, she still kinda GETS it. If she'd been younger and in her town and everything got decimated and the Gods were no where to be seen, she might lose some faith, too.
She looks at the people, anti-God and believer alike.

"A reason to believe."
Various people spoke and chattered about their needs. Trying to find fallen or lost family and friends. Homes destroyed, businesses lost. Crops withered and wells dried up while the horrors from that day still appeared in the night and edges of their settlements picking them off slowly.
"What we need is for things to go back to how they were. Or to pick up the pieces ourselves. I'm ready to fight and take the future in my hands, and I know I'm not the only one here who is." Icarus would say firmly to the crowd, some of which were nodding in agreement or murmuring similar rhetoric.

Cain opens his mouth, but finds he doesn't... really have anything to say in response to that. The truth was, he does want to help people. He just didn't know how to go about it.
But luckily, Kaia apparently has that under control.
"Alright... so we need to huddle in closer so that the people can be defended better. Not so spread out."
He starts thinking out loud.

"You can do all those things without abandoning your faith." Kaia would say in response to Icarus. Mostly reaching out to those still hanging on to it.
As she heard Cain thinking out loud, she'd sigh and shake her head.
"You're thinking too far ahead. Do things you can do now. Shelter and food should be easy enough, even for you."
The words didn't hold the usual sting they did, but, it seemed like Kaia was slowly starting to bust his balls again.

"Everyone's trying to rebuild. A God is here, offering to do tasks like a common man. Let him at least do that and prove you haven't been forgotten. You might find, eventually, you'll want someone with a God's strength to be there."
Kaia would start heading towards a torn down building, looking at the mess then starting to try and move debris to help those trying to locate their missing friends and family.
She wasn't a God. She had nothing to prove, here. But these were her people and now that she had her chance to do something, she would.
