Incarceration has twisted Cody's mind into that of a brutal, aggressive man. He seeks only to look out for himself, and bring harm to those around him that so much as look at him the wrong way. Very quick to anger, and just as quick to make an initial move, he is no longer the moral man he used to be. He is but a mere shadow of what he once was.. Coming back to set in stone what legacy will be his.
Mentality:
With an absolute mentality, Cody abides by his rules and his rules only. Once again, the aggressive side of him brings out his worst traits, treating everything and everyone boring to him. If you didn't agree, you'd suffer for it.

Description of style: Karate is your basic self defence fighting style however with Cody's experience he's added in a few moves himself. Before he quit his karate school he left as a blue belt.
Cody excels in the martial arts of Wado-Kai (Karate) and was a Blue belt in his father's school. He knows many (if not all) of the fighting forms and stances of Karate.

Cody was born and raised on a light snowy day in January in a small town called Chatham in Canada. In his early years he was fascinated with many objects and putting things back together after breaking them. His father was a Wado-Kai (Karate) instructor who was bent on no less than perfection. His mother was a busy executive who was also a perfectionist in a sense and managed the household activities. However, many children throughout grade school persecuted Cody just because he was "different", and proceeded to make fun and tease the poor boy. At one point during his 5th year in school some kids formed a small group and beat up Cody for the reason that he was different. The teacher on duty was alerted by the ruckus and came to a scene which all the children had scattered and left only a boy bleeding from what almost looked like his mouth, witnesses say he was thrown against the fence numerous times.
In light of this Cody's father Damien had then proceeded to train Cody in the ways of Karate so that way he could be more prepared for another time. Cody was negligent at first but his father pushed him and made him train. For years Cody withstood rigorous training programs, sparring practices and climbed the ranks quickly within his studio thanks to his father's "no less than perfect" degree. But this payed the ultimate price on Cody. He began to get rough with the other kids at school and caused him to lose his caring for others mostly and becoming cold, but instead of punishment Damien praised his boy saying that only the strong survive.
However, one fateful day. When he was 16. The day that Cody entered the world series martial arts tournament and lost against one Barry Lane. Cody was forced to report to his father..His father was not pleased..When the two reached the home Cody attempted to go to sleep. In the middle of the night it was raining and Cody was awoken by a small drop on his head and turned next to him. His father stood with a scowl on his face. "Get up!" he demanded as he proceeded to kick Cody in the stomach. Cody was helpless and was forced on a beating. Luckily, the windows were open and his neighbor's called the police. By the time they got there Cody was beaten to a pulp and taken to the hospital, Damien was arrested.
After Cody's recovery, his father stood trail and plead Not Guilty. However, the evidence and testimonies were against him and was sentenced to 35 years in a maximum security prison and Cody was forced to start living with a foster family. Cody didn't bother to say his goodbyes and quickly packed his bags on his birthday. The events now officially made him feel worthless and used. He lost something important. Trust. On his 17th birthday Cody left for the simple reason that he could not stand being home any longer. He was being forced to live with a foster family afterwards and moved out to Metro City, under the care of a Foster Family.
Metro City, a land of thugs, crime, and riots, all under the watchful eye, and domination of the underground gang known simply as Mad Gear. Every single bit of crime known to man was perpetrated here, and the city was mostly a virtual ghetto, except for those who lived in the big paying houses, which is the district that Cody lived in with his foster family. Where were the cops? Who cared, as they ran scared, held under the jaws of the Mad Gear gang. This city was easily under the control of half of it’s assets. Anyone who lived in the city’s harsh conditions really knew how to survive. Cody didn’t pay any heed to the Mad Gear gang, going about his business at the local downtown gym.
Until the day that he saw a woman, being ganged up on, for no imparticular reason, she was about to be kidnapped. This is where Cody’s strong sense of justice kicked in, and changed his life forever. After fighting with the kidnappers, and beating them to near death, there was one however, that escaped. Making Cody a now, walking target, and in some cases a dead man. Not a day went by that Cody would have to fight at least a small group of grunts from the Mad Gear gang. With his resolve to get stronger, pushed Cody to the limits, and by this point in time, Cody was beginning to worry the higher ups of the Mad Gear hierarchy.
However, Cody was beginning to see the resolve, seeing what his actions were doing, people began to see him for who he was, being a man. But more than that, people began to look up to him. Kids began to train to be like him, and he would become the definition of what people would call a “Hero”. And by now, Cody stopped letting the Mad Gear come to him, he would then look out to fight these thugs. Attempting, by himself, to stop this madness by now. With his own two fists, he would go, looking for the Mad Gear’s head. Mike Haggar, the current Mayor of the city, joined him in his fight. He’d had enough of the madness of his city being run by crime, tired of being blackmailed, he challenged the Mad Gear alongside Cody. And the two of them, by themselves would clean the Slums, Streets, and Buildings of Metro City. With Cody’s Martial Arts, as well as Mike Haggar’s wrestling ability. They destroyed the work of Mad Gear, sending the head of Mad Gear, Belgar, to his possible doom, when Cody threw him outside of a building.
The people celebrated, everyone sang the praises of Cody and Mike.. However..
As days passed, Cody soon became frowned upon, as Metro City then went through economic withdrawls. It came to the point where people soon began to fight him, angry and frustrated with the way the city had turned out, thanks to his actions. Of course, Cody fought back, doing his best not to kill the innocent people.. However, there was something growing inside himself now, like when he fought the denizens of Mad Gear. It was.. An insatiable hunger for fighting. He couldn’t stop himself, from beating these people senseless.
Finally, the court ruled in favour, that Cody be sent to prison for the his countless acts of violence. He was captured by heavily armed units, and incarcerated in a prison cell. Within the Maximum Security prison, Cody lasted only a week, before deciding on breaking out.. So that’s what he did. While the guards were off duty, Cody went on his coup for freedom, eventually breaking out of prison. An issue was ordered to catch him, and kill him on the spot. However, thanks to the efforts of Cody’s friend, Mike. The charges were dropped, and Cody was left free to wander.
He escaped into the United States, not a soul looked for him, as he made his way across the country, finally finding peace within himself. Setting a gym up with his own money, keeping his own handcuffs. Learning how to fight with them, and forgetting the teachings that his father had placed on him so long ago.

Cody became a violent man. Causing his fighting to become well known, both amongst gangsters, people, and most noted, the Police. He was arrested for his fighting stature and was immediately placed under arrest. His trial was short lived, and brought back to Prison for another stint of two years. During this time, Cody warped into something sinister. He rocked in his cell, back and forth, before realizing that being a loner wasn't going to get him anywhere. He rallied riots. The gang wars in prison weren't much but there were enough to cover the news of how no well trained policeman could stop this machine. Cody grew, as both a man and in mind. Serving himself to be something of a "Anti-Hero" showing that nothing in itself could be represented with strife and attitude.
It was a sad set of years.
By the end of the third year, the prison sentence had ended. And so he was moved to the town of Long Beach. He, however, had to be placed in a Government issued home to be monitored for dutiful purposes of the FBI. However, Cody had something.. Much bigger in mind. He felt like his old stomping grounds owed him something.. So he would pay a visit. To reclaim it, as his own.
