Why did it hurt so much, holding her while she cried and shook? Aureus had never cared for someone this much in his life, and it hurt. He wanted to make her smile again, but knew it was too late for that. Things wouldn't be alright, not for a while anyway.
Locked the door...What the fuck did he do?! the boy screamed mentally. Whatever it was he had forced her into it. After considering it for a moment, Aureus figured he didn't want to know. Unfortunately, he had a hunch. I'll kill him... "Stop saying that, he forced you into it. It wasn't your fault," he repeated, trying his best to convince her.

"You don't get it, do you? I couldn't stop him...but then I didn't. I. didn't. stop. him."
She lifted her head, her chocolate eyes were red, and her cheeks streaked with black eyeliner. Worrylines creased her tragic features, and she closed her eyes briefly, trying to regain her composure.
"I'm a terrible person, Aureus. It's my fault."
She ended weakly, her gaze falling to the ground, well what would have been the ground but they were too close together. She sniffled, her breaths still shuddering, and a tear escaping her eye, but she had stopped sobbing. She was feeling that drained feeling again, like every thought, every tear, every word of er confession to him was costing her a bit of her shattered soul.

"Look, I don't care if you stopped him or not. I still love you!" The Sophomore shouted, annoyed that she was being so hard headed. Why did she think it mattered so much? It was clear she didn't go out and do it on purpose, so why wouldn't he forgive her? "Stop beating yourself up over this. I won't leave you, and I'll make sure he pays..."

She said softly, hugging him again, nestling her face in his neck. He was so amazing, so understanding, that even in such a terrible situation she'd found herself in, his love for her didn't waver, not one bit. And just like that, the weight began to lift off her heart, and though she knew that there would always be something haunting her, she finally could believe that things would eventually be okay.
"I love you so much, Aureus. Forgive me for doubting you, I didn't want to hurt you..."

Finally. Aureus thought with a smile, letting out a sigh of relief. Chi was finally starting to relax, which in turn made him feel a lot better. Actually, hearing her say how much she cared about him made him feel the best he had since their night together, despite the current circumstances. "It's alright. If you're happy, I'm happy," The pillar said, picking up her head so he could look into her eyes.

Chi let her face be tilted up toward his, and she opened her chocolate eyes to look into his own. He understood, not completely, but he was still there for her. He still loved her. The faintest of smiles cast itself across her features like a shadow, though her eyes still held onto the pain..it wouldn't go away for a while, that was certain, if at all.
"I'm not happy, not really, but I still have you, so that's all that matters."

"Well I'll have to find some way to make you happy." Aureus said softly before leaning forward into a kiss. I can't stand seeing her like this. Well get used to it. She's not gonna be happy all the time. However, we're sure as fuck gonna find that Soresu guy. You can't just charge in though. We're gonna have to find out about him, ask around. Yeah...

Her smile grew slightly at his words before he pulled her into a kiss, and she happily obliged. Pulling her arms back from around his midriff, she wrapped them around his neck, entangling one of her hands into his disheveled brown hair toward the back of his head almost unconsiously, it was almost a habit.

That never gets old... Aureus thought contently as the girl's hand raced through his hair. Even in the horribly depressed state she was currently in, she could still make him the happiest guy in the world. One thing did occur to him though. He had failed to protect her. Maybe he could have done something if he had been there...
Slowly pulling her bottom lip, he broke the kiss and spoke once more. "Tell me everything you can about this guy," Aureus said, sounding slightly somber.

She frowned slightly as he broke the kiss, though the tug at her bottom lip made her happy, it was a nice touch. She took a deep breath and looked down as he asked her to describe him, that meant he was going to find him, and that meant a confronation of sorts. Someone was going to end up hurt, and in a way it was going to be her doing.
"Tall, blackish brown hair...and an earring in his, left ear.."
She said, thinking for a moment, speaking slowly because as she described him, she could see his face materialize in her mind. She shuddered slightly, trying to shake the image out of her head, but it didn't work.

Aureus could tell it hurt her, trying to remember, but he had to know. It wasn't much, but it'd be enough to go on. "Alright, I'm gonna talk to Asiv about this. I just need to know who he is. Then I'll try to think something up. "Is there anything else I should know?" The Pillar asked, rubbing her arm as he did.

Chi looked at her boyfriend, her face set in a grim expression as he asked if there wan anything else he needed to know. Anything, because she knew than even if he went to Asiv, Aureus would try to get to the senior himself. She thought for a moment, before speaking again.
"He's a senior, and a transfer...from what was it, 552? I think...and Aureus, he's manipulative. Merciless and manipulative and just...don't get hurt, okay?"

Senior? Transfer? Aureus thought as it clicked in his head. He had heard about some boy transferring from 552, a school in New York. "Isn't he that ex-gang leader?" the schizo asked absent mindedly. If so, he would have to be extra careful. Gang leaders aren't to be taken lightly, especially ones from a school like 552, who's reputation had reached even California.
"I'm not gonna rush in without a plan. He's probably a better fighter than me anyway. It'll take time, but I'm going to make his life hell. I have to find a way to get to him..."

She replied, a confused look crossing her face. She had known he had come with a reputation, and Coach Williams had even said that he shouldn't cause trouble here, maybe she'd heard something about a gang...she could always ask Travis, her own gang leader. Ooo, that was another thing she hadn't told Aureus...
"Just, be careful okay? I want you back in one piece.."
She said, the worry apparent in her voice as she lifted a hand to bursh across his cheek. She didn't know how she would deal with herself if he ended up really hurt because of her. She had seen what those upperclassmen had done to him that night on the beach, and she had a sinking feeling in her heart that the 552 transfer could do the same thing to him...on his own.

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me, beautiful." He said with a smile, closing his eyes slightly at her touch. Was he just trying to relax her? Yes. There was a good chance he could be totally screwed if he didn't put enough thought into things. Aureus was beginning to realize just how dangerous a situation he was in. It wasn't all bad though, right? He only had one enemy to fight this time. Even so, he was more worried about Chi than anything.
Rummaging around in his pocket, Aureus pulled out a black pager. Ashley had given it to him a long time ago, but after he got his cell phone he rarely used it. Pushing a few buttons here and there, he edited the first programmed number from Ash's cell to his. "Here, keep that with you all the time. If you ever need me, just hit the large button on the side." He said before handing it to her. Sure, he realized she probably had a cell phone too, but when you're in trouble, it's not exactly easy to pull out a phone and call or text someone, but with the pager all she had to hit was a button. "Just in case, ya know?" He said while petting her hair.
OOC: I dun think that's how pagers work...(Wouldn't know, never had one) but oh well. lol
