Bastille sat quietly in the morning air. For once she was in bed, and for once- she had actually started the night there. Although she had not slept. That same dream kept playing in her mind and she always woke with a breathless start. In her stupor she had gotten up and gone to the bathroom, gone down to the kitchen to eat something, meditated in the downstairs portion of the house, plotted death for many, curiously tried to solve tactical puzzels. Yet here she was again, sitting on the edge of the bed and staring at the autumn morning, arising outside the window. Her crimson hues stared blankly and her lips remained pursed in thought.
"Well....this makes things more interesting" she muttered curiously into the wind.

"Hmmm?"
He asked as he started to wake up from his slumber, unaware of the restless night that Bastille has had thus far. A long drawn out yaw followed by the sound of cracking bones as he stretched and shifted to sit up, looking at Bastille.
"What does?"

She shifted and drew up her leg. Her left leg. She undid the bandages and showed the wound and what used to be blue, purple or black was now a light shade of red. Her eyes narrowed at it, as if she wasn't happy about it. It just seemed too easy. But then again, compared to everything else in her life- perhaps it was.
"It hurts.." she murmured. "that means the nerves are growing back..."
Just as before she didn't sound happy about it.

"Well that's a good thing right?"
It was good in his mind. Mission accomplished, and it would mean he wouldn't have to do a deal with the devil. Something he had been considering. After all he knew Barker was looking for him, which meant Mathew had something to trade.

"Then theres..." She began darkly, but she paused at the silence. Then as if on que- the doorbell rang. Bastille was up, a pair of jeans on and she was dashing down to the door. Bastille smirked as she opened it.
"Oh look, a groveling rat..." She smirked as both the red headed doctor and a blonde man in a wheel chair greeted her. The blonde boy leaned into his hand, whos attach elbow sat bent on the arm rest.
"Now is that anyway to treat your brother, Bastille? Last time I checked Buckingham palace till stood." Yes, her family made building jokes- because they could. Bastille just crossed her arms.
"A ghost then, all the better to kick your supernatural ass afterlife and before. Watch your back boy, it's almost Halloween by my count"

"Hmmm?"
He began as she fell in to silence, before the doorbell rang. That was unusual. He wasn't expecting visitors, though apparently she was. Without warning him even. Fucking figures. He grumbled as she went downstairs. Taking a moment to get dressed himself before making his way downstairs. Seeing the doctor and the man in a wheel chair. He nodded to the Doctor, feeling a little smug.
"Why sweety, you didn't tell me you were expecting guests. Why don't you introduce me to the young man."
He said nicely. Way to nicely. She was going to hear about it later. But he had caught that this was her brother.

Buck and Bastille both flashed Mathew the same stare, one full of curiosity and boredom. Buck seemed more curious than Bastille who quickly turned back to her brother. Buck looked from him to her and then to her hand which was conveniently at her level.
"oh HO HO- someone got stagged." Buck said with the excitement of a child. Bastille turned and hit him over the head.
"To that man over there" The doctor chimed in, taking the poor groom to be's side and prompting an introduction.
"I'm Buckingham Richard Cunningham, Bastilles younger brother. You may call me Buck. Sorry to intrude so early, but that was the only way to get here safe and sound before we head to the new location. Tess here said Bastille requested my presence for some news- I guess I found out before the formal announcement, how rude of me."
Bastille snorted. "Git, I did no such thing" But she knew who did. Stupid ginger couldn't keep her mouth shut.
Buck blinked, and ignored Bastille- something he apparently did really well. "It's a pleasure, I guess we just got more improper then if Bastille told no one..." The doctor just stood behind him with a wickedly coy grin- resembling a fox.

Mathew gave Buck a small bow of his head. Still smugly smiling at Bastille. He seemed to annoy her, this pleased him. He didn't even mind the doctor being there. It tickled him that much.
"I am the Jarl Mathew Amtrum the Earth Dragon, The Pharaoh Blessed by Ra, and Aries God of War."
Yeah he could have a long sounding name too. What now?
"Bastille, why don't you go prepare tea and breakfast for everyone. I will entertain our guests."
He couldn't pass up this chance. He was laughing on the inside.

Bastille just stared at him with her mouth open. Did he just..... Her eyes narrowed but she grabbed the doctors hand.
"You mean prepare the poison to erode the walls of your stomach and allow the acid to dissolve your inards- sure...on my way" She hissed. Bastille and the Doctor left the room, Bastille muttering a rather long stream of insults and catty remarks. Buck watched them go with wide eyes then turned back to Mathew with a smile.
"Ahha- so that's how it is."

"Yes dear, I do mean your usual."
He said not at all concerned as he moved over to Buck.
"Hmmm?"
Did he mean how she did what he told her or something else?

She obeyed. Completely- when he would have been surprised if at all. His childish features made him a boy of a mere 20 years old at best. He smiled politely and pressed his hands in his lap.
"She listens to you...how'd you accomplish that?"

He grinned.
"Everyone listens to me, as for how I got her to start? She made a poor bet and gambled her freedom away. Pride comes before the fall."
He looked back at the kitchen.
"Wanna ditch the girls for a bit? They will probably come find us and be pissy, but we can ditch them for a bit."

He chuckled. "If you dont mind rolling me to where ever it is you want to go... I am no longer agile or prideful myself. As such, I've less to loose to their squabbles." He didnt look scared of either girl or the prospect of them getting angry. He knew the Doctor took no mind to surprise comings and goings as that would be hypocritical.

"I will do better than that. Let's allow you to stand shall we?"
He offered Buck his hand and if he took it he would pick him up and carry him outside where he would hold him so his feet touched the ground, stone moving up his body until it covered up to his neck. Mathew's hand on his shoulder would allow the stone to animate as long as he was touching it, allowing Buck to "walk" forward with Mathew.
Otherwise he would just roll him out. It was his choice.

Buck, as he said, really had no pride to loose- and took his hand questioningly. The experience was weird and rather awkward for him. He hadn't walked in over 3 years- his legs being completely paralyzed. His cyan blue eyes stood wide as he looked around from his old/new height.
"Wow...remind me to obtain whatever vitamins you're taking."
