Stretch it Out (Aryn/Open)

Leon would be out early in the morning having built a small trainign exercise based on what he saw Aryn being capable of. In one spot was simply a pile of rubble.

In another was a man made waterfall, and another was a maze, or race track.

Leon would be sitting on the rubble waiting for Aryn.

It wasn't too long after that Aryn made her appearance, coming up from behind, and slightly to the side. Not necessarily 'sneaking' up on him, but being fairly quiet, anyway, glancing at the rubble, the waterfall, the maze-track, all as she made her way to him.

Leon would tilt his head a bit at what he thought was noise, before using his senses, seemed it was becoming harder to see... Easier to hear.

"What do you think?"

[Aryn Valcoph]

"...interesting. I'm guessing it's for me, then."

She stopped just next to him, leaning casually against his shoulder.

'That waterfall looks fun."

It wasn't hard to tell where Aryn's mind had gone.

Leon would nod with her comments. Though the comment on the waterfall would make him smile as he looked at her with a grin that inclined towards something naughty.

"It always is. Now then, today is going to be all Qi. And it will likely hurt... Alot. So, I'll give you the choice on what to hit first. Rubble toss, Waterfall, or maze?"

Practically as good, but maybe better, than a fountain. Maybe.

Qi. Hurt. A lot.

Wasn't that an awesome combination?! :D

Now, save the waterfall for last, or do that first?

"Maze"

It came after a brief pause. Depending on how that one went, then she'd decide after. Unless Leon was deciding for her after that.

Leon's smile would spread as he'd move towards the maze. Waving for Aryn to come over.

"Here is what we're going to do. You start your fire at the start line and start the maze. Everytime you hit a wall I'm going to electrocute you. Everytime you pause or hesitate I'm going to electrocute you. Turn around, I'll electrocute you."

Leon would pause.

"Start when your ready."

Electricity bouncing between his hands.

No need for waving! Aryn walked right alongside Leon to the start of the maze.

As he explained the 'rules', her eyebrows climbed higher until they disappeared behind her bangs.

"So in other words, I have to hope I have horseshoes lodged so far up my ass that I make all the right turns."

'This is gonna hurt.'

But, well. A challenge. She looked dubiously at the maze, allowed a slow smirk to quirk her lips, and then summoned up her qi to create a fireball in the air.

Nothing happened.

She glared, closed her eyes to briefly clear her mind, opened them again, and this time did what she wanted successfully. It didn't sputter, per se, but tried a few small, outward explosions.

Well. This was going to be interesting. She started forwards, turning right with her eyes moving the flame. It was easier than trying to control the burst from when she'd unlocked her qi.

Lukcily enough right turn was correct, Leon flared his electricity near her, but did not shock her, he was aiming to make her flinch.

Up ahead is a three way straight, left, or right!

[Aryn Valcoph]

How far could she see? Aryn scooted forwards a step or two before resuming her regular pace. If it didn't seem there was anything ahead aside from a dead end, her eyes flicked to the right, keeping the flame close so it was a bit easier to control as she side-stepped to the left.

Hey, the man said nothing about side-stepping, just about 'turning around' and hesitating. Loopholes. So she hoped.

Now the real thing she had to hope for was that the left wasn't a dead-end, or that the right was actually he quick way out.

Leon didn't react much when she shifted, the side step was good, different angle. She can see a dead end left! But right seems... Safe.

Leon throws a bolt just past Aryn striking the ground near by sending small shrapnel rocks to shoot out and tap at her calphs.

And she would hear a rumbling from behind her!

Right. The right seemed safe--

But with the ominous rumbling behind her, and Leon's little electrical attack had her hopping back right. There was no way she was going to stick around, yet as the shrapnel pieces cut through her jeans, she could only wonder if reversing the direction counted as tur--

Not thinking about that. Nope.

Aryn quickly made to bypass Leon at a speed that would hopefully enable her to avoid or overcome any 'surprises'. With him shooting bits of electricity off at her without hitting, and the rumbling, it made her wonder...

Aryn would see the wall in front of her closing!

...no way! No bloody way in hell!

Aryn started sprinting for the spot that would remain open the longest, and threw herself into the space, providing that she still had room to do so, from several feet away.
