There might have been a slight waver, but, her power remained stable. For a second after he gave his order and asked his question, Aryn's jaw hung open. What--

"Good answer."

Leon would place a hand on her shoulder.

"You ever seen a short circuit? Its when there is too much energy for the circuit to handle and it burns out in a flash of power. If you let that water hit us that's exactly what will happen. From all the power I have and all that water it could kill us both."

[Aryn Valcoph]

"Oh fuck yo--I really hate you sometimes, you know that?" Came the growled response despite the fact her eyes did widen slightly. She didn't bottle her frustration or allow it to explode so much as she twisted it to something useful, fuelling the flames.

'FuckfuckfuckIhateyouIhateyouIreallydo.'

Not really. But damn.

Leon would slowly slide his arm off her shoulder down her back before wrapping his arms about her waste and holding onto her gently. Placing his cheek and head down against her as relaxed as can be, putting his life in her hands.

For five minutes he'd let it sit before stepping back and out of the waterfalls path. If she was able and they didn't explode due to her fatigue he'd finally say.

"You pass todays training."

"Ffff..." She hissed quietly, biting her bottom lip. She didn't quite relax, no, too much riding on this, but by the end of the five minutes, she had, somewhat, if only because she was starting to shake.

'GetoutgetoutgetoutgetoutohmyGoooooodgetoutnowpleasekaythanks.'

She let her power flare as he cleared the water to a safe distance and moved forwards, releasing her flames so that the water hit her hands as she left, only...and then turned without flopping back - because that would be stupidly painful - to flick a couple droplets at him.

"No shit."

Grumpy.

Leon would close his eyes wrinkling his nose as he slapped at the air like a bug was attacking him with his hands, before looking back at her since he had to fight the water.

"Well at least your upbeat about it."

Aryn just stared, glanced at her still wet hand, and flicked one last water droplet at his face.

"Glad you think so."

A faint smirk edged her lips up and she stuck her hand threateningly beneath the spill of water before pulling it back. An eyebrow raised. Even with, or perhaps despite, her injuries, she still was a little temptress.

For good or ill.

Leon would once again sissy fight the water droplet coming for his face. Stopping he'd look at Aryn's hand under the water, his eyes would narrow and he'd stare.

"You wouldn't dare."

Aryn withdrew her hand, but was obviously cupping a small handful of water as she grinned. It was hard to not laugh and aggravate her injuries, so she sufficed for a smile, instead. The brunette rolled her eyes upwards, slowly, exaggerating the motion. Higher overhead floated the little trick she had just learned, but on a much smaller scale.

It held in its saucer-like shape half the amount she held in her hand.

"Wouldn't I, Leon..?"

The grin faded to a smirk as she opened her fingers and let the water spill out, instead seeming to be content with flicking her slowly dripping fingers at him again. And at the same time, let the small amount of water dribble down, right on his head. Drip drop plip plop~

Good thing. Even at such a small scale, it was taxing her already tattered reserves.
