"Well you go by your nicknames and I realized that I haven't and I do consider you a good friend so I figured I might as well start now."
Rai smiled but then remembered what they were talking about.
"Really not Rose? Who then now I'm curious, I might actually know them I know a lot of people that it wouldn't seem like I know actually."

This guy was just not going to give up.. Well, what was the harm in saying a name, if he really didn't know... Which he wouldn't, I mean, there was no way...
"I.. Seriously, you don't know them. But... If you insist on a name, it's Ari....."
And then Lucien realized that this was the first time he had ever actually told someone about the man (though not in full truth, but not entirely lying either). He got a little jittery, just saying the name... It was uncanny, how even just mentioning him in conversation gave him physical reactions.

"Well damn. I didn't see that one coming... Koshiro and Zax are going to be livid when they find out they have yet more competition... well, does Ari reciprocate those feeling back to you?"

Lucien raised both eyebrows. Both of them. Not only did Raikotsu just imply that he knew Ari, a Rogue who was probably helping murder the entire state of Indiana right now... He also just implied that Koshiro WarHazzard and this Zax fellow were gay. Which also meant that Lucien had just outed himself.
"I... I didn't know that anyone else knew Ari. This is definitely a surprise to me..." He thought for a moment, wondering for the first time if he was just being played.
And then he realized he didn't answer Raikotsu's question.
"And, I'm pretty sure Ari feels the same way about me... I mean, enough that we had sex, at least..."
Lucien wasn't really up on those social cues. Adult males openly talk about sex, right?

Rai looked at Lucien like a dad would look at her daughters boyfriend.

It felt weird to say that, his Ari. When, judging from their last goodbye, wasn't the case at all. Lucien felt that familiar tug on his heartstrings, but he was still feeling relieved that Raikotsu and him had made a terrible mistake.

"Ah... Yes, Ari is quite cute.." He blushed, though you could only see it on half of his face as the other half was still bandaged. He was somewhat grateful for them, because he was pretty redfaced.

Greeaaaat. Lucien was getting further and further into this not-quite-truth... He would have to be really careful...
"W-Well... Ari has a slim frame, pretty pale, with long black hair... Pretty chaotic hair, but somehow the perfect order... Short, about five-foot-two... Has this amazing smile, that you're lucky if you get to see..."
He was rambling, it was true, but hell, this was the first person he had actually gotten to talk to about this. Even if he was still filtering his words, it was nice to gush sometimes...

Lucien was enjoying this now, getting lost in the thoughts... They were good thoughts.
What do I like most about Ari...? Let me count the ways...
"You know, there's this little scar under Ari's lip... Bites it when he's nervous, I just can't get enough of it..."
And for a second he was still in the blissful state, not realizing what he had just done. Slowly, it dawned on him, but it was far, faaaaar too late.
