It had been some time since he had seen his friend Lucien though things were different now. Lucien was now the Lightning Dragon... Well, we'll see how much things had really changed.
As Rai roamed to the front of the tower.
"I'm here to see the lightning dragon."

Raikotsu would be greeted by guards, who would bow and welcome him.
"You may enter, sir, but please be careful. The Lightning Dragon is in recovery."
And indeed, he was. Lucien looked awful. He was sitting up in a bed, propped up by pillows. The middle of his face was wrapped with a large bandage, and other parts of his face and neck were covered too. His entire torso was wrapped with bandages, and his wrist was in a cast. He was also quite pale, like he lost a lot of blood.
The one eye that wasn't covered blinked at Raikotsu, and he smiled thinly. "Raikotsu. Nice to see you, old friend."

Rai saw Lucien and remembered he heard that David had bled him in. He chuckled though silently.
"And here I thought Mathew was rough on me in my initiation. How are you holding up."
Rai walked in further and took a seat beside the bed.

"Slowly recovering. It's a bit better because of my healing ability, but it's still slow-going." He replied. He had only woken up a few hours ago, after being out for a good day. Water helped, but only to an extent. His body needed time to heal.

Lucien winced, then looked to Raikotsu with a look that was a half-glare and half-grin.
"Ow."
"Anyways, What can I do for you?" He asked. No matter what kind of friendship they had, Lucien didn't expect anyone to come see him just to visit.

Rai laughed at Luciens glare.
"Honestly I didn't really have anything in mind, just figured I'd come by and see how you were settling in, thought about maybe having a rumble for old times sake but it doesn't really look like you're up for much, even if you wanted to fight."

"I see." Lucien said, nodding slightly. He could have guessed as much, knowing the one-eyed man.
"Well, I can't really do much right now in the way of fighting. It's a shame, I haven't gotten much opportunity to fight with my new Qi..."

"Oh, believe me, the training was pretty extensive. I know a few tricks already..." He smirked, then winced.
The urge to cough came over him, and he fought to hold it back. Damn, coughing hurt so much.

Rai saw the wince and look of discomfort on Lucien's face.
"You ok there? Don't die on us now, that would be one shitty end to the Lighting Dragon."

After a moment the pain passed, and Lucien grinned. "It would, wouldn't it?"
He turned, and reached for a large cup of water from a side table. Drinking slowly from it, he felt the cool liquid run down his throat. It meant that his lightning would be short circuited, but it meant he would heal faster. A good trade, as far as Lucien was concerned.

Rai chuckled. Then curiously watch Lucien drink his water.
"So I remember that Uncle was rather uneasy when it came to being around water, so how come you are able to handle it so well?"

Lucien put the cup down slowly, letting it hit the table with a slight clink.
"Water heals me, thanks to the Gamble Fruit. As a result, the short circuits do not cause me any pain. It still means I can't use my electricity for a while, but while I'm healing like this, I'll take that deal." He replied, chuckling to himself at the absurdity of some of those statements. Surely, before the bombs fell, Lucien would have found this whole situation ludicrous.
