Lucien just stared, the horrified look on his face giving away everything. He could only stutter for a few seconds, trying to think of what he could say to fix the situation. But, there was nothing.
"....You can't tell anyone. Raikotsu, promise me you won't say anything! No one knows I'm..."
Lucien paused. This was the first time. This was it. He was going to say it. Lucien breathed in deeply, and shakily exhaled. He couldn't make eye contact, his red eyes downcast.
"No one knows I'm gay." He whispered.

Rai looked at Lucien for a long moment, just staring at the man in front of him.
"I promise, you are a good friend and I wouldn't do anything that would be upsetting to you. But may I ask a question? Why do you sound ashamed about it? Why haven't you told anyone else?"
Rai said with a genuine concerned look on his face.

Tears started forming in Lucien's eyes. Little droplets fell from his face to the floor...
"I had always planned on telling them... People who are the closest to me.. And, I tried. I really did. But, it never ended up being the right moment. Do you remember that drinking party? I had originally planned on it just being Delilah and I. I was going to tell her, that night."
Not to make Raikotsu feel bad, that wasn't the point. Maybe he was just trying to justify it with himself. Was he ashamed...?

Rai nodded.
"Now I feel worse for crashing your party then... But hey listen."
Rai came closer to Lucien and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We are your friends and nothing will ever change that. You are who you are, so your true friends will accept you and your choices. Never forget that."
But Rai would lean back up and yawn.
"But alas it is getting late, and we both need all the rest we can get. You have a goodnight Luca, and think about what I said."
With that Rai turned away and rolled out waving at his friend.

Raikotsu got really close, then. It was interesting, usually it would bug him.. The physical contact, the closeness of the man.. But, it wasn't uncomfortable. More friendly.
As Raikotsu wheeled away, Lucien stayed silent, thinking about what had been said. And seriously, did he really just come out of the closet to Raikotsu?!
