Hypnos would look to Thanatos, and Thanatos would stare at his brother with a slight head shake to signal Hypnos not to do something.
"Then... Maybe they should be asked a reasons beyond retribution for things they see as crimes. To get a real answer one may have to build respect."

His eyes shifted to Hypnos, wondering what Thanatos had told him not to do.
"I'd love to hear your thoughts as well if you wish to share."
He said with a small bow of his head.

He himself was learning new powers as well, so why not them? And he now knew that many of the God's most powerful weapons were missing. If the Titan's knew that then that could also spur them to war.
"Though things have also changed on our side. I suppose it would depend on how many unknown variables they are willing to deal with."
He paused. There was no way to know what had changed at the moment. Not unless they had contact with their family beyond the wall, but he wasn't counting on them saying anything to endanger any family they may have there.
"Are you satisfied with the status quo?"

He asked with a small chuckle. They would die if they tried, but he hated betrayals. They were messy.

He gave Thanatos a considering look. Saying he didn't have one was incorrect. At least with everything Mathew knew about Qi to this point. It was just still locked within. But every living thing had Qi as it was the life energy that sustained us.
"Would you like one?" He asked Thanatos.
Hypnos' ability was very fitting for his name and title. And also very useful. The fact that he said people over a person meant that he would be very good at controlling the battlefield. A very potent ally.
He grinned as he turned to face Hypnos.
"That's quite a potent ability."

"You know, I'm not sure."
Hypnos would explain.
"Yeah, brother with a power would be scary. He's enough a master of those that die without a power."

Mathew let out a bark of a laugh at that. Enjoying a bit more food.
"Well, I can tell you that you do have one. You just haven't learned to use it. But every living thing has that energy inside. It may even be possible to shape it how you like. If you do not desire another tool of war, perhaps one of peace?"
He said over his wine cup.
"Leon Sudeki now has an eye that grants him insight. So not all abilities are violent."

He said not nearly as phased as Hypnos seemed to be.
