Mathew stood to excuse himself. Offering them a final bow before he began to leave their cave. Stopping at the mouth of the cave, his hand on the side of the wall.
"Do you mind if I take a hunk of rock with me?"
He asked, if they allowed him to then he would scoop a handful of stone from the cave wall as his next snack. There was so much more testing to do.

The two would wave off the request.
"Go ahead."

Mathew scooped up some of the stone from within the wall. If these were two beings of great power it was possible that residual energy resided in their abode. And if that was the case he was going to try and eat it. If nothing else the stone should help restore some of his strength again to give him another shot at this construct idea.
Munching on the stone Mathew would start walking on his way to the Egyptian area of the God territories. It had been some time since he had visited Ra and the others, and he wished to follow up on them to see how they were transitioning with their merger. Make sure that they were still content with how things were going.
Unity was vital.

The egyptions where as usual, mostly not at court, the only ones around were Ra and Set.

Mathew bowed to Ra and Set when he was granted an audience with them. Straightening he moved to the front with a smile, his hand wandering over to the scepter of Ra at his side over his new Mace of Ares.
"Greetings Lord Ra and Lord Set. I have come to make sure that everything with the merger has been to your liking. You did not have any concerns in the initial meeting, but now that things have had a chance to move forward I wished to make sure that all of your needs are still being met."
Anubis had probably been largely responsible for how smoothly getting the Egyptians into line was. But the last thing they needed was for a faction to become unhappy and work to subvert the unity they were building. Especially with a Titan War possibly on the horizon, and Strike trying to turn the world against them. Very effectively too. Every ally was needed if they were going to stand a chance at toppling the king of the hill.

Set would make to speak up on this.
"The people are fine with the merger, there has been little crime to report, and for the majority of our realm, there is nothing of interest."
Ra would speak this time.
"Most of us are out on patrol a lot of the time, or dealing with border problems, I think we would ask more of the Realm of Dragons if you ever have the chance to meet with your consular, at your realms Enclave."

"I appreciate greatly the use you have granted us of your people. The wisdom and sharpness of the Egyptian God's is legendary. But even God's can grow weary and what use is unity if we can not rely on each other. I shall speak to the other Dragon representative about increasing our own patrols around the boarders."
He inclined his head.
"If I may suggest two courses of action for you to consider. I can ask her to send patrols to replace some of yours and pick up slack that way. Or we can insert our men into your patrols allowing you to cycle out men and women in a gradual process and combining our strengths together for each patrol."
He would bring which ever request up with the Kiyr, or even a different one should Ra suggest it. He was playing diplomat here, so he would simply be conveying a message.

"The second option seems best. Combining our forces would not weaken us as much as one for the other."

He nodded. It's what he would have chosen too. And gradually cycling men and women in and out of the patrol would be less jarring and allow for an acclimatization period with the new route for the Dragons.
"I shall bring it up with them. Is there anything else you wish to discuss? Or any other concerns you may have? Or perhaps I could ask your thoughts on Strike's televised announcement?"
The fact that there was television again said wonders though. Like him or hate him, Strike had a lot to bring to the table. It's what made him dangerous.

"We have nothing else of concern... But Strike's announcement is concerning... We know our people will stay simply because we had already brought them what they needed, but the rest of the world... It is concerning. There is little we can do on the matter except maybe struggle through the coming storm... Or accept the future."

"Let us hope that it is a future with us still in it."
He said with another small bow before excusing himself. He would need to deliver Ra's message to Kiyr and get that squared away. Plus he kind of wanted to find Loki anyways. And Kiyr's Granddad was Odin so it seemed logical to maybe find her in Norse territory. He could kill two birds with one stone that way.
And so to Norse territory he went! Thinking about how he wanted to approach Loki about what he wanted. Whether Loki would play ball or if he would have some stupid trick. Probably the latter from Loki's reputation. He sighed to himself, shaking his head. Honestly, he didn't even know how to find Loki. He was one of the harder God's to find. He was kind of tricky like that...

In fact, Mathew would find Odin. Wearing a cloak carrying a walking staff and watching over the training of some of the Norse Gods with his grey beard and hair.

Mathew walked up behind Odin and would watch over his shoulder. Looking to see how the Norse God's were training under Odin's eye as opposed to Tyr's when he had first come here so long ago. His eyes could not help but shift to Odin from time to time though. It was said that Odin was one of the best fighters in the world. Stronger than him even. But no one seemed to know by how much.
He was more than a little curious about how he would match up against The All Father. Especially if they both used all of the abilities at their disposal. He didn't say anything for now though, but would simply think about it. It was tempting though.

Mathew would note each Norse God held a weapon signifying who they were in most case. Thor with his hammer. Baldur with his sword, Loki and dual knives. It went down the list from there. Odin would not look behind him, just speak.
"Ares, Dragon of Earth. How do you fare today?"

Loki was there! That tricky motherfucker was hiding in the one place Mathew would never have thought to look, in a fight. His eyes shifted between both men before Odin spoke to him.
"I am well enough. Being quite productive and I thought I would check up on you. I was interested in finding Loki and talking to him about something, but seeing you are in the middle of training it got me thinking."
He clicked his tongue. He was gonna go for it.
"I'm interested in seeing how I match up against you on the field of battle."
The talk said he was pretty damn good. He was hoping that he wouldn't be disappointed. If Odin was willing to face the challenge.
