A Breath for Defeat [Damien?]

[Kyrie Blaze]

The blonde looked to Hyperion and gave him a grateful nod. A sigh of relief soon followed when she saw Damien close behind, carrying a bundled and very much alive Arianna.

She turned back, content to leave them all to what they were doing, and looked up at the stopped and gentle Titan. Ouranos, the father of all Titans. Kiyr blinked. And blinked again as her mind started to turn. He was known as the Sky Titan, and the sky back in ancient times was also known as...

'The Heavens.'

The blonde tilted her head as she came to that and blinked owlishly. Cael might have found amusement that he could practically see her making connections and...

"...I would like to thank him, if it was indeed him." She looked at him, steadily, and then asked the burning question on the tip of her tongue: "I would hazard to guess you may be of similar age. Are you, him?"

She blinked, innocently, in turn.

Cael let his smile widen into a light chuckle as people stopped to stare a moment. He shook his head.

"I am hardly Ouranos. I think he would be offended by the comparison. But I know who could find him, if you wish."

Cael stared back, quite amused at her assertion.

[Kyrie Blaze]

She didn't seem to have offended him with her stating she guessed he could be easily as old as the first Titan. It could be she was wrong even on that. But she didn't care that the other Titans stared.

"I meant no offence to anyone. But, I would be extremely grateful."

She was solemn yet hopeful as she spoke, but keeping respectful by not crawling all over him for the offer.

Cael shrugged.

"Perhaps I am as old as he. Who knows. We've both lost count. But the only one who would know was the one doomed to keep him standing for eternity."

He watched her, giving another innocent blink.

"Atlas, holder of the Sky."

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr's head tilted to the side. But she wouldn't fully discard her instinctive notion that he could be...

"Where might I find Atlas..?"

[David B.]

Cael would let out a hum.

"I'm not sure. He's been missing for a thousand years. You might try Hyperion or...or Gaia, Mother Earth. They were all close friends."

He seemed...sad at the mention of Gaia, but would give a smile.

"Good luck. I have a child to tuck in. Find me later if you wish it."

And he would walk off!

Kiyr reached out and gently clasped Cael's upper arm with a faint but warm smile.

"Thank you, Caelum. I hope you and Tobias have a peaceful night."

She could not get to Gaia unless she took a pod or Ceres, so she would turn to follow where Hyperion had gone to. She could always ask the Ship if Hyperion didn't know. Down to the forges she went!

He stopped with her hand on his arm, but didn't look at it. He just turned his eyes to her and smiled and nodded, before continuing on his way.

Hyperion watched her come in, smoke and steam and fire making the forge hot hot hot. He would grin, something he hadnt done yet but now that they were alone, would offer.

"Kyrie. Mind handing me that lump of metal by the door?"

Once she did (it was big, and would take both her hands, though he would grab it with one), he would set it in the iron cast bowl and look back to the sword he had been hammering.

"What can I do for you?"

Kyrie's blue eyes flicked around the forge, already beginning to feel the effects of the heat. Her expression warmed at the grin, and she gave him a smaller one in turn before nodding.

"Of course."

She would go and grab the piece of metal, hefting it and taking it over to him with steady steps. After handing it over she smiled again and stepped back with a breath.

It was hot.

"You saw that I was speaking with Caelum. I was asking him about what happened with Arianna and who it may have been. And...how I might find Ouranos if it was him. He told me I would need to find Atlas, though he did not know where he is. Do you..?"

[David B.]

Hyperion blinked a few times before laughing, having paused a moment in shock at the time before hammering once again.

"I don't remember what Ouranos even looks like, let alone where he might be. Old man Cael was right, Atlas would know but...he's been gone for a thousand years. He exiled himself after the fall of Rome. I heard a rumor that he was seen and taken in Canada at some point but...I haven't been able to look into it. There are thousands of rumors that have been called up about him. None of them are likely to lead anywhere."

He stuck the blade in the water, steam hissing out around him.

"I would just give up the search for the Skyfather. It's a dead end. Be grateful your sister recovered and move on."

He didn't sound angry or bitter- just experienced in the matter of trying to hunt the lord of the Heavens down.

Canada?

The blonde tilted her head, though she was already sending her inquiry to Ceres: 'Ceres, run a planetary search for Atlas? Try starting with Canada.'

When he told her she should drop it, she frowned, but didn't cancel her request. Maybe she couldn't find Ouranos...but it wouldn't hurt to find out where the long-missing Atlas had gone off to, especially if rumours of being taken were true.

[David B.]

She responded after a moment.

'My apologies. I cannot locate anyone named Atlas. There are several powerful signals coming from a facility in Canada, however. The same one Olesya was located in."

Hyperion frowned.

"We may not have known each other long, but I still know when your considering doing the opposite of what I told you. You are tricksy like that. Take someone with you to see Gaia, if you must. She knows more than me."

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie had the good grace to look sheepish with Hyperion's words. She rubbed her arm before slowly nodding.

"I will... Hm, but, do you know anything of the ARC Facility in Canada? They happen to have taken one of our own who has since decided to remain there, but...while Ceres can not locate Atlas, there are several strong beacons within that place."

[David B.]

Hyperion looked disgusted at its mention before he spat into the fire, as though he had a bad taste in his mouth.

"Aye. The ARC is a facility in Canada full of scientists, doctors and weapons called "Curators". They use tools to capture people like us, dissect us and make weapons or cure diseases. They don't give a damn about anything but the mission- to save humankind. And we, as in Qi users...we're not considered human."

He hammered down on the metal.

"Atlas could be there. It's probably one of the only places that could contain him."

And Olesya chose to stay there? Kyrie frowned.

"And if it turns out he is there..?"

What, then, would Hyperion think or want done?
