"Nothing terribly large. If Bailey has a piece we can use that, and I can return hers to her once I have some answers. It's not a problem."

Well she'd guessed right enough, it seemed.

He'd take the blade if the doctor allowed him and he'd set it on the counter before his arm would shift. His tunic ripping and tearing as his bones cracked and snapped, his muscles bulging out violently and painfully. He'd bring one of his claws down against the blade, chipping part of the blade off, giving it a notch. A small amount of venom oozed from the wound of the weapon as he handed over the small fragment to the doctor.

"It's a trophy, I can get more."

Much like her first time seeing him, Bailey watched as Blake's ability went into effect, though this time it was his qi rather than just fluid motion. Her eyes widened at the venom that the blade spouted as it was chipped at, like a wound oozing infection. She shivered at the energy she felt coming from it, goosebumps prickling along her arms and spine. Yet Blake seemed immune to it, or at least used to it enough not to react. She wondered what Arianna thought, her gaze going back to the other woman.

"What sort of tests are you planning to do?" Distractions, doctor. Please.

Arianna didn't bother trying to keep the blade - nor did she particularly want to when it wasn't hers and she wouldn't use it - and thus Blake took it back and chipped a piece off it. Arianna wiced slightly but didn't otherwise flinch. Instead, she busied herself to grab a petri dish so the oozing sample could be set down into it. On went the lid, after, Arianna simply looking at the sample with a soft "Thank you" before Bailey's question turned her attention back to the young woman.

"Well, a breakdown of the venom will be a start, and I can probably do something with a bit of the carapace itself. We'll keep one for a control and then see if anything gets the venom to mutate, and then we watch how it does. If we can't find anything that way...I'll take what other samples I have left of this to the God Territory, and see if any of them will have answers."

That made sense, though Bailey wasn't sure what the venom might hold since she'd been attacked by a laser. Still, anything was possible, and at this point it was another way to tackle the question of what was happening. But taking them up to the Gold Realm?

"Ah, thank you." Hopefully it wouldn't require that. Bailey nodded, but Arianna seemed to know the situation best.

Blake just frowned at his trophy, he'd need to repair it now. A bother, but doable. Though he was going to be very annoyed if this didn't yield results.

Other bits she would sort out as she went. For now this piece was a good start.

"You seem to be fine other than the slivers having occupied your hands. With those cleaned up you'll be okay, it's simply a matter of managing your grip, I think. You're welcome to stay, but I'm going to start dividing the venom and maybe take a few slices from the carapace. You can go, if you want, or stay, but it's not the most interesting work."

So saying, she stood, letting the duo make their own decisions. But either way she was on her way.

"That's alright. If it's going to take some time, I'll go ahead and go." Bailey would gingerly hop down from the medical table, flexing her fingers without actually touching anything. As Arianna said, it would take practice to keep her grip in check and know her own limits. She didn't have to be stuck in the infirmary for that. her gaze flickered around the room, mentally reaffirming that she was more than happy to go now.

"Thank you, Arianna. I'll stop by later, if that's okay." She wasn't sure what Blake would do. Normally, she'd say he'd leave, but that was a bit of his sword that was being taken apart.

"That's fine." She smiled, looking at Bailey a few moments. "I'll be here, and I'll see you later."

And then she would settle down and take a syringe to take a small droplet of the oozy substance to put it on a slide...and view it under a microscope.

She would find an inactive grouping of slightly luminescent venom. Not unlike the Emperor scorpion's venom.

Luminescent was interesting. She moves to the computer to see if she can access the database and bring up whatever information she can on them.

[REDACTED] findings suggest it's possible for [REDACTED] to interact with others. It's not like a gift, its like an intruder. Eating into the energy of another and changing it. It's like a virus or infection causing massive changes in another persons energy. Having multiple effects. As Follows:

5. Physical transformations

Finding any kind of luminous Qi seems to do it, or anything with a glowing factor seems to be infectious or invasive.

Well that didn't sound pleasant.

She specifically takes a peek at numbers three and six due to their redacted nature. If there was anything said within so she could try to pick up a general context, that would be wonderful. Otherwise...potentially physical transformations would be handy.
