Physical Appearance
The eldest female Barrial is tall and somewhat willowy. Years of dance and other physical activities such as yoga and an active lifestyle has kept her body trim, yet not overly toned and especially not muscular. She is not a fighter, but a lover: of the arts, of healing.

Arianna has pale eyes that are closer to honey than a very light brown, though they do have some striations and the colour darkens a little towards the outside of her iris. She has a mostly-pale complexion which can be troublesome in the Californian sun, but she doesn't seem to burn too easily. Her hair is blonde with some darker undertones. It's fairly long but cut in a layered style and will occasionally curl a little bit on her. Most times it remains straight. When she's working she has a tendency to pull it back from her face in a ponytail to keep her hands free. Her eyes glitter with warmth and humour and are a shade of pale brown that easily passes for "honey". They're highly expressive.

She has just slightly-wider hips than her shoulders. While she's not an hour-glass figure, it's almost close enough all the same. Her body is decently proportioned, with long legs. Her feet are about a size eight in women's shoes. She prefers flats or shoes with low heels if a touch of elegance is needed.

Reading
As an avid reader - both medical text to information, plays, and stories - Arianna could spend all day curled up with a blanket and a good book if she was allowed to.

Dance
Having classically trained in Ballroom for most of her life, the Barrial family's dance lessons had kind of spawned from Arianna's initial interest in dance. She normally partnered with her twin brother, Armand, but later with her boyfriend and deceased fiancé, Ronald Harris on occasion. She's danced in competitions for West Coast Swing, which still reigns her most beloved ballroom style to this day.

Theatre / Drama
More of a passion than a hobby along with dance, this would have been something she would have pursued as well as dance as a career choice. As it turns out, not only does Arianna have a passion for this, she also is of a pretty decent talent.

Yoga
This was most-often done with her mother for a few years, though her younger sisters were cajoled into coming as well. She enjoys the peace and yoga also provides the benefits of keeping and increasing her natural flexibility.

Learning
Arianna has a passion for knowledge and learning. It means she's pretty open minded and completely willing to research things and search for knowledge on her own.

Singing
Along with drama and theatre, Arianna enjoys singing. She carries a decent tune--certainly not the best, but her voice is soft and rather pleasant all the same. Her mother first taught her how to play the piano, but she found over the years that she much preferred singing. Still, they are some of the fondest memories of her childhood.

Surgeon / Medical Knowledge
Though young, still, Arianna has swept through her medical programs with a flourish. She fast-tracked, especially after the bombs, as there were programs and places still in-tact overseas, where she was taken after being revived.

Learning
Not only does she have a passion for it, but Arianna tends to be very good at learning. She's a woman who is smart and can be a bit ruthless when it comes to expanding information, knowledge, and wisdom. Set her loose on a library or the world and watch this lady go.

Acting
Theatre and drama aren't interests for nothing, either. Arianna can fit herself into a variety of roles as a strong woman, able to even play roles that could be perceived as truly weak and utterly helpless when needed. She has fairly decent composure and a steady poker face when necessary. She knows and abides by one of the true rules of acting: some part of it, always, has to be real for it to be believable. Her little sister picked that tidbit up from her, at one point.

Cooking / Baking
While not the best kitchen cuisine creator, Arianna has decent skills, though her strength is more towards baking. But she has a good foundation and handles herself very well from years of cooking en famille, at first learning from her mother.

Empathy
Arianna has a very high amount of empathy, and thus, compassion. She can read people well enough and has a sense for when they need a hug...and for when they need a little bit of tough loving--neither of which she will shy away from giving. This makes her chosen profession as a Surgeon both easier and more difficult, at times, as loss can be quite devastating. But her heart is strong and she can handle it.

Judge of Character
The blonde is a fairly good judge of character and does form strong opinions on people, depending on what she sees of both their words and their actions--the latter of which tend to tell more than their words. Her opinion on people can be changed, however, as she absolutely realizes that people can change, and sometimes a bad situation draws out the imperfections of a person more than a person's good traits.

Parlez-vous..?
While her list of languages is not as extensive as her younger sister's, Arianna is completely bilingual with French and English. She can comprehend languages like Spanish, being that both French and Spanish (along with several other languages) have roots in Latin. She knows some basic Latin, but languages have not been a priority to focus on learning.

Memory
Arianna's memory is very sharp. People, places, situations, and what she has learned is all stored safely away, for the most part. Obviously she does not have an eidetic or photographic memory, but it's almost on-par with Kiyr's.

History

As the second-eldest Barrial child, Arianna was born as a paternal twin to her brother, Armand. While both sides of her family come from lines of old nobility, a very high emphasis was placed upon hard work and diligence and earning a place, rather than riding on an inheritance or the generosity of other people.

She and her twin have been nigh-inseparable their lives. With that degree of closeness often came some arguments here and there in life, but nothing permanently damaging. It was the same way with their extremely close-knit family.

She started her interest in physical movement young, with gymnastics, but not very long. She quickly moved to dance lessons, and eventually, her twin got caught up in her excitement and joined.

Life was normal. They never really "wanted" for anything, being that their family was comfortably well-off, but if they wanted something, they were expected to work for it. School started in a private school so she and her twin could receive the best start, away from the horrors of the CPS. Her younger sister started two years later. In junior high, amidst her high marks and bright mind, there came a couple "teenage" relationships where she began to figure boys out. They came, they went, and she grew. It was during this time she also found she loved the small drama club and mini productions that were put on, and she began nurturing that pass-time as well.

Graduating to highschool found Arianna excelling further still. She was a bright young woman and already - with all the volunteering she did with her family at the Children's Hospital in Seattle - had a handle on what path she wanted to take in life: become a surgeon, help as many people as she could between that and her medical degree. The last semester of her tenth grade she started looking into taking College level courses.

And found out that she had it bad for Ronald Harris. It all started during ballroom dance competitions, mostly West Coast Swing.

Their families had a rather competitive - as an understatement - and nasty tension and her twin was decidedly rather abrasive as the man of that household insulted his father at every turn--mind you, Alexander wasn't necessarily being kind in turn. For years, the families' relationships were very strained. They dated in secret, a veritable modern-day Romeo and Juliet. Her younger sister wound up finding out and frequently went out with them, as did Ronald's younger brother. For a while, even, Steve and Kyrie tried to "date" but wound up finding out they were simply best as friends--which was, in Arianna's opinion, adorable.

That summer, Arianna and Ronald took the first step towards coming out, together. They began with Arianna's family, who was by far more complacent than the Harris family. Ronald's father had a massive chip on his shoulder in the belief he was better than Alexander because he rose from poverty and had to work harder than Alex had for his career. It turned out to be Armand that had answered the door with Ronald and Steve both standing outside, with Arianna hot on his heels but too late.

Hell broke loose and the argument that ensued between the twins was the worst they'd ever had. Kyrie got caught in the crossfire. Their father was rigid at first, but--he'd taught his children to make their own choices, to stand firm with love and kindness, and to face the consequences if there were. And he, with encouragement from his wife, Gabriella, and Kyrie as well as the youngest Barrial, Aless...accepted and gave Ronald a chance. Armand had none of it at that point.

Ronald was - family tension aside - a gem and a true gentleman. He was on his way, as well, in the medical field, and danced. He was a sweetheart, and with the Barrial family, at least, accepting - if not approving in some cases - Arianna's choice, they had part of their veil of secrecy lifted.

By the time the eleventh grade rolled around, she was taking those courses on top of her regular classes. It continued through the rest of her two final high school years.

About a year after graduating, during a West Coast Swing dancing competition, Arianna and Ronald finally revealed their relationship to the Harris family by partnering up--much to Armand's displeasure. He had, however, by and large accepted his sister's choice and stood by her side, if perhaps a little begrudgingly.

After they danced, to the shock of all the onlookers...Ronald proposed. Arianna said yes.

And though the Harris family - well, mostly just Ronald's dad and a little from the youngest sister, really, as Steve knew and his mother was a sucker for romance - had a conniption fit, they never looked back. When, the following May, her entire family moved from Seattle to Long Beach, she completed her semester of school at her current college and then followed her family. She knew that she and Ronald could handle it--they'd discussed things at length and had agreed that the following summer - between semesters - was when they would have the wedding ceremony. They would visit one another when they could, but both agreed to make their studies their top priority.

Only a few months later, the entire world was thrown to Hell and tumbled into chaos as Sean Barker dropped the bombs. The last thing Arianna remembers from that day was arguing with Armand--and finally convincing him to walk her down the aisle along with their father.

And then she woke up a few days later, the sudden rush of consciousness as she sat up amongst some swirling ash dizzying--

--disorienting enough that when she saw her grandfather standing there, resplendent in Norse armour...that she had trouble believing she was alive again. He took her - teleporting - overseas. She's spent the last few years in Asgard, studying and completing her courses...and having plenty of practice while doing so. And then she decided - along with Odin - that she needed to face the past. From here she met Damien Blaze, in a rather unconventional way when he fell between buildings, fleeing from a Barker patrol. She helped him, he helped her...eventually. It happened to be a rocky start.

Eventually they made their way from Washington to California, upon finding out her fiancé had tried to make his way out to her for a surprise visit but wound up dying. So, they wound up leaving and through that process, came to be close, close enough that Damien wound up proposing before leaving her to rejoin her sister, and eventually he appeared as well. The Great War that followed was certainly...intense, and both brothers disappeared after it, leaving the two sisters wondering if they were even alive.

Years passed, and Arianna once again found herself residing within God Territory, dealing with her own spell of grief and healing. Eventually, life moved on and she found herself involved with someone again, just with a lack of ring. Her qi tends to be troublesome when it comes to de-aging her upon revival...and she's had a few encounters over the years that have made it so she appears younger than she actually is. With the emergence of a third power, she's been "locked into" Cabal's academy, though her purpose there is somewhat double-sided. Recent attacks have raised concerns among territories, and especially the territories of 250-260.

What will come from this..? Hard to say.

Personality

Arianna is a balanced, self-assured woman. While she may seem reserved at first, she isn't quite so removed as her younger sister, Kyrie. Despite even the vast majority of her neutral expressions, there is a certain warmth to her eyes that isn't entirely due to their honeyed shade. Arianna tends to get along with people from all walks of life and all backgrounds. She does form strong opinions on people based on what they say or do, but her opinions can be shifted.

She has a natural warmth that makes her friendly with everyone, and she strives to be cordial and compassionate. Though she can easily consider a great many people as friendly acquaintances, she tends to only keep a close-knit circle of friends, knowing it isn't quantity, but quality in all things. She is outgoing and rather sunny, but is not a true extrovert all the same.

She is a passionate individual and does not hesitate to share what she loves openly. She has an intense drive that suits her well for her chosen profession. She enjoys healthy competition so long as it doesn't develop into hostilities. These traits go hand in hand with a vast amount of sheer stubbornness, which can be very vexing as she won't budge until she's good and ready to.

Empathetic and compassionate, she's always willing to lend a helping hand, so long as the people she helps are wanting to help themselves, as well. With that kind of perception, she's also very honest and very blunt, completely comfortable with stepping up and calling someone out on their load of crock, or pulling them to the side if necessary. She's fiery, in that regards, but healthily so.

With compassion and empathy come love, and the lady is full of it. A love of life, of laughter (she can frequently be found laughing), of family and friends and helping others; she's content with her life as it stands, but continues to cultivate it so it remains strong and bright. She's loyal and devoted, and - a trait that is very strong within her family - she's fiercely protective over those she loves, as well as the innocent. While she is not a violent person, at all, God help you if you hurt those she loves, because while she may come to forgive you, she certainly won't forget.

While innocent, Arianna certainly isn't naive. She still can be easily embarrassed, especially depending on the situation, but that just shows she is nowhere near being jaded.

She can have quite the temper and it's prone to spouting up quickly and dying off just as fast, and normally for good reasons, but she's human, still, and sometimes those reasons can be ridiculous. She muchly prefers to release her anger, rather than cling to it like her twin had a tendency to do.

Not normally anxious or shy, she has her moments like anyone else, and those times are generally when her nails suffer for it.

As a rule, Arianna dislikes cursing, regardless of whether it's in English or French, and will often use substitutions for swears, oftentimes getting very creative with them. This leads to some bafflingly funny exclamations along the lines of "Sonnuva sugar licker!" and more.

Phoenix Rising
Ability One:

Upon death, Arianna has the potential for revival under the right conditions.

1. Death by any fire.
2. After death, her body being cremated.
3. Major organs required to live must be "with" the body, though not necessarily inside.
4. The body may be broken, crushed, or in pieces.
5. So long as fire is involved before, during, or after death, Arianna will "rise from the ashes" as a Phoenix would. The fire cleanses and heals as she turns to ash. If she is missing limbs, she will be missing them upon her revival but may die again upon regaining them within the required timeframe of seventy-two (72) hours. Organs of an appropriate donor can be burned with her body and will be incorporated on her revival.
6. Arianna reverts to the age she originally was at her first death when her qi was activated (20 years old), regardless of how old she was with the present death.
7. Revival time dependent on player and circumstances, or on GM in any GM'd thread (normally ten (10) minutes or two (2) GM posts).

Ability Two:

Arianna has the ability to revive others, NPCs, PNPCs, PCs, all inclusive. Many of the former rules apply. She, instead of being killed by an outside source, undergoes a process similar to internal combustion. She burns herself alive in order to revive and bring the dead back to life upon her own revival.

1. -10% from the revivee's current base stats (all, not the caps).
   (Can be reclaimed via normal means; cannot repeat any tier ups.)
2. -10% from Arianna's current stats; an additional -10% from Arianna's max cap if this ability is used as an offensive measure against someone!
   (Cannot be reclaimed aside from potential effects of Gamble Fruit or other such admin-created boosts.)
3. Arianna has seventy-two (72) hours from the person's death to revive them.
4. Maximum of three (3) revivals at one time without rest. Upon completion of the third revival, Arianna passes out for two weeks (OOC, approximately 2-7 days IC, dependent on damages to the revivee's body) and must be cared for. Her mind and body cannot take the strain and so it shuts down to compensate and recuperate.
5. Revival takes ten minutes or two (2) GM/Admin posts.
6. If Arianna rests upon completion of the second revival, she must rest for a period of twenty-four (24) hours, upon which she may complete a third revival and not pass out. So on, so forth. The moment she tries for an additional revival in the rest period, upon completion, she passes out for the time above.
7. A "complete rest period" to completely reset her max of there (3) revivals at one time is two (2) weeks IC and OOC after reviving two (2) or three (3) people.
8. If Arianna revives three people at once, after waking up, must wait twenty-four (24) hours before attempting another revival. This is not dependent on the "complete rest period" as described above.

Stringmaster
Ability Three:

Arianna has the ability to manipulate singular and multiple threads; certainly handy when it comes to surgical work. TBC.

Bloodline Blades
Ability Four:

The bloodline ability she shares with her sister has made its surprise appearance. Four chains with blades at the end emerge from her back, each capable of its own movement. Arianna can - eventually - manipulate and wield each lasher independently of one another...but for right now they make quite the mess, and are prone to appearing as defence mechanisms.

By showing loyalty to Cabal the wearer may summon a lesser form of a Dragon's sword. Words seem to sprout from their mouth of their own will. The only incantation the ring has learned so far is: "E ehjuga dra Mekrdhehk Tnykuh." This summons the blade of the Lightning Dragon. This blade adds 1/2 the users ENG stat to the wielder's ATK stat. This lasts four posts and can not be knocked from the wielders hand. This changes all damage types the wielder does to 'Lightning' type.
