Speak Up (Eric, Leon)

[Bailey Oleander]

"I'm not hoping for anything." Bailey shrugged. "There's more to what he has to say, but if that's what you want, then okay." She wrapped her arms around each other again, wishing for a jacket.

"He's been a friend and companion to me since we've been together. He's watched my back and never asked for anything in return. So when he says, 'Hey,I need to pass on information to Eric about something personal and important,' I don't see a reason not to do so in private."

[Leon]

"I wounded the creature and snatched the closest child to me as I teleported. I ended up in the facility, the child did not. Last I knew the child was alive."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Then what does he intend for me to do about this?"

The Loki he remembered didn't do anything for free.

[Bailey Oleander]

She mentally went over the information given.

"He says there was something wrong with my teleport crystal. It connected to a rogue power surge and dragged him into the facility, which was sealed long before he got there...he wounded the creature and snatched one of the children to get away. He made it to the facility, but so far as he knows, the child did not." That had heavy implications, but she didn't know about the things Eric did and mentally cocked her head to the side, speaking aloud.

"One of Ares' daughters? Or someone else?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"It could be I suppose..."

Though that would give him more questions. He dared not let hope blossom too much, it was a thin lead.

"Where did he end up when he teleported exactly?"

[Leon]

"... I remember a room with a large blue crystal, then a lab of some sort... I don't remember exactly."

[Bailey Oleander]

"There was a room with a blue crystal, and a lab. He's not sure about the rest." She looked from Eric to Loki-glove with a thoughtful glance.

"Is it possible it's where I found you? There was a power plant and a crystal there, but the others said there was another one underground. Apparently the scientists were still doing things to themselves down there."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I assume it's near where he became a tree spirit?"

[Leon]

"Your guess is as good as mine I suspect."

[Bailey Oleander]

"It sounds like we all three believe that it's a safe place to start.  He's not really sure."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Then that's where I'll start."

He'd get to the bottom of this. One way or another.

[Bailey Oleander]

"Well, I know Krane's working on gathering a small group to look further into the facility and see what else is there besides the research, ferals, and scientists. You could check with him, especially since there's apparently more than one crystal in the area." She'd rather not see the two butt heads, but she's pretty sure she's going to with Eric in three...two...one...

[Mathew Amtrum]

"He can do what he wants."

He didn't plan on waiting around.

"Loki, is there anything else you wanted to tell me?"

Because Bailey was just the mouthpiece.

[Leon]

Loki did not have more to say outright.

"Can you make sure if they replace me it's not some uptight prick?"

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey choked on his response as her cheeks reddened. "He would like that, if someone replaces him, that they aren't an 'uptight prick.'" A second's pause as she composed herself, looking at him seriously again.

"Though I do have a request."
