"The crystal I found you by, then? When we were there, it had a drained engine, but it clearly had power of some kind. I don't know what type of crystals would be around there otherwise to cause issues for you." Not yet, anyway.

If she could have hugged him, she would have. It sounded unpleasant to say the least. Bailey looked up at the sky for a moment, then closed her eyes as she soaked in the warmth that contrasted so strongly with the mental image.
"Do you know if anyone's seen it before?" She'd rise to her feet, brushing the dirt from her clothes before leaving the clearing and making her way back to Cabal as they spoke. It seemed they would need to prepare for a bit more yet.

"How in the world am I supposed to know that? Besides, I thought the Earth Dragon killed him?" Case in point, Eric telling her as much, though at the time she'd been more focused on the intimidation fact that she'd not be strong enough to do what she was advised would likely be needed. Now she had to wonder.
