Speak Up (Eric, Leon)

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd smirk at the request. It sounded about right.

"You have my word that anyone that takes up the mantle of Loki will be one who appreciates the full spectrum of what such an honor entails. Though there is, of course, a chance that you will be able to retake your rightful place. And once more ascend."

He'd straighten up, and pull at his coat.

"And that would be?"

[Leon]

"I'd rather not play games with the afterlife. I may have a trick or two in mind for now."

[Bailey Oleander]

"He doesn't feel like playing games with the afterlife, but does have a couple ideas of his own." Bailey wasn't sure how much prying was safe to do at that point, all things considered. It was interesting, but also still a bit above her head, so she turned her focus back to the request she had.

"We want to come with you. Both of us."

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd laugh. Loki would have ideas. That's for sure. Well, he'd leave it at that. His domain wasn't of the dead.

"Agreeable. But we do things my way. And we will leave tomorrow. There is still something I wish to look into before going."

Namely his own new companion. The Scorpion King.

[Bailey Oleander]

"Alright." Bailey would nod. She had her own things to tend to, especially now with a tighter timeline. But while a full-scale investigation of the facility may be worked on, but this was also a time where action was needed before it felt like the leads she had slipped through her fingers.

"What time?" She would be there, and she would be ready.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Dawn."

[Bailey Oleander]

"I'll be ready." Bailey gave him a slight nod, accepting the terms despite the nagging doubt in the back of her mind. His way would likely be something she was unused to, from what she knew of him. But it was something all three of them wanted, so she would deal with issues as they came and try to keep things going smoothly on her end.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He nodded, that was all he had since she was finished. He would see her soon enough anyway. Without further ado he would depart, leaving her and Loki alone with their collective thoughts.

/exit.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey watched Eric go without further word or goodbye, his figure eventually disappearing into the woods and out of sight completely. Once he had, she found a place to sit down and make herself comfortable, kneeling and sitting on feet.

'I actually have a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind.' The curiosity and mental gears turning reflected in her tone.

[Leon]

"Alright. Ask away."

[Bailey Oleander]

"I'm sorry, this is going to be personal. Feel free to let me know if you'd rather not." She looked up at the sky with a small sigh.

"You mentioned that you created the tree in order to make it possible to get out. What did you do, exactly?" She had no idea how you'd transfer a soul from a body to a tree, but apparently it happened.

[Leon]

"Honestly, I don't remember. I remember reasons, planning, bleeding all over the place. Some events, I only recently remembered I'm Loki. The closer the memory is to my death the harder to remember it is."

[Bailey Oleander]

"That makes sense." The shock of death would likely make it difficult to focus on those horrific last moments. "Do you remember where you were trying to go before the other crystal pulled you away?"

[Leon]

"The return crystals take us back to the gates of Asgard. I was trying to ferry the child to my father Odin."

[Bailey Oleander]

She mulled over the idea of what he was advising, the gears turning more to the point he can probably hear them.

"So how does it work? Is it something you are able to do as a god? Or the child of one?" He did mention Ares's daughters, after all. It seemed something that worked like a bloodline.

"Do they all go to Asgard? Or are there different places or names?"
