It had been a bit since Tina's last bout of excitement at Cabal. All things considered, it had been a win-win for her, blowing up a bad guy and getting a cool friend in the process. Still, things nagged at her, and as the restlessness continued, she found herself meandering back down the hill the battle had taken place, taking a small bit of pride in the bit of brain stain that was still on a tree.
What's-her-name had mentioned him acting like he was stuck at a tree, a little niggle in teh back of the blonde's brain. She hadn't seen the girl since and really didn't care to, but sometimes boredom makes you do things. So she was poking around, not necessarily minding her business as she summoned Leyak out for some conversation and stuff! Especially since no one was currently around to see that she knew of. She hadn't told anyone about him.
"Hey Leyak, wanna get some air?"

Leyak leapt out of her, landing on all fours and shaking his loose skin with a mild cackle.
"Free free free, walking by the tree. TINA!"
He turned around quickly, needle-teeth in a small grin.
"Nobody to kill here. Nothing to rip or tear or take. Why did you call!?"
He sounded somewhat betrayed.

"Hi!" She rocked on her tiptoes as Leyak skittered about, able to roam freely but also disappointed that there was no wanton bloodshed waiting for them. Yet.
Coolest. Friend. EVER.
"Well, not yet, but there might be! Did you just, not ever come out of there?" She frowned a little before pointing in the area where the creeper and dead dudes had been.
"Weeeee are going hunting!"

"Nope nope nope. Last friend didn't like me. Kept me prisoner."
His head would raise, ears perking in excitement.
"Hunting? HuNtInG!? WHAT FOR WHO CAN I KILL THEM-!?"

"Rude." Tina huffed. "That's not a friend if it's not a game." Sadly, she can't say she hasn't tormented those she might have called friends, but she chooses not to bring it up. "Well I'm not a cagey lady, so we're both out to see what's up, and if there's blood, I am SO down."
She pointed to the tree with enthusiasm.
"We're poking around where your last friend was. He was super sneaky, and I wanna know how. So if there's more people like him, you're probably going get a chance for a snack or something." She really doesn't know how much of what he eats.

"Ohhhh yeah I can see when caught, I know where i know where!"
He ran in a quick circle.
"Imboriel came from the facility, he did!"

Imboriel? More like needs get laid-briel. Tina starts walking along as Leyak goes in circles like a bucket of pent-up energy that just got found.
"Facility, huh? Cool. Is it close by?"

"Nope!"
He sat back on his haunches and tilted his head like a curious dog.
"He comes from 176, he does. Facility is far far far far far. We killed lots on the way!"
He scowled.
"I got their souls to take them back but no body, no replacement so instead i eats them."

He. Was so cute. Unfortunately, Tina had no idea where Territory 176 was in comparison! She can appreciate a blood bath though.
"No body, no replacement?"

"Mmya! I don't like stealing souls, but he ripped them up, he did. If the body is whole, I can put a soul back. Leyak is very useful."
He grinned a sharp, toothy grin.

That sounded so gross. And interesting. How the heck did you rip up a perso
"Very useful." Tina nodded, beaming at Leyak's explanation. It matched up with what she saw. "Is that what the other crystals i saw are? Other souls with no bodies?"

Leyak nodded, turning around.
"Mm hmm! See see? They're almost without light, but if you died, I could use one to bring you back! Pretty cool huh?"

"Heck yes it is!" She was so proud of her cool friend. The lights were notably dimmer than before as she took a step forward.
"Does it hurt? Having them or when they flicker out?"

He nodded.
"Lots! But they're only dimmer kuz they're drained....but they got the juice we need Yep!"
Tina would finally notice the body of the man she killed was missing.

"Coo." She nodded with a grin. "What drains 'em?"
Tina stops as she notices the guy's body is missing, frowning. It probably just got carted off by Cabal or something if crybaby Allissa told anyone what happened. Still...
"He can't just turn into a zombie, right?"
