The explosion obliterated the David sprite, or seemed to, as he went up in a puff of smoke before the massive blast tore an incredible hole in the side of the wall. Stones started to collapse around them, and Tina had a very short window to escape! Tina must escape this round or she gets buried alive! |

She's getting too good at explosions, and there's no time to appreciate that fact. THE WORLD IS SO UNFAIR.
She drops down into the floor vent again and starts crawling like a squirrel on caffeine!

Tina scurries into the hole like a fuckin' cockroach, rushing through the tunnel as it begins to collapse behind her. She was moving so fast in the dark she didn't notice the edge, and would fall straight down a shute, smashing into the ground and getting cracks all over it under her. (15 damage)
"My....but you are creative."
Smoke man was there, still watching her.
"Perhaps I won't kill you, since you did my work for me and destroyed that machine. But I don't think your slave driver is going to be so pleased."
"TINA-!"
"Ah, speak of the devil. Til next time, Tina."
He rushed away in a blast of wind as David came around the corner, blood coating his front. Not his blood, obviously.
"Tina what the fuck? I said no explosions."

Tina was too mad to feel the pain since smoke guy was still around. She really needed to work on her killing methods for these creeps.
AND NOW THE JERK KNEW HER NAME.
"WHAT?" She spun on her heel at David's shout, scowling as he turned a corner and crossing her arms over her chest. Of course he chastised her about not exploding things, never mind all the time she spent listening to him. No, he focused on the one time she didn't.
"You didn't say anyone would be down there, either."

David's eyes swept about.

"Nu-uh." Tina shook her head and pointed to the vent she'd come out of.
"The machine's pretty busted and the rocks caved in, but that was after whats-his-face was already tearing apart the machine in it." Another pause as the teen took the time to think for half a second.
"I think it was another qi sprite, or something like it. Kind of like Leyak and the other guy."

Tina couldn't care less about blood. She'd already tasted brains.
"Whose they?" She shrugged off the question about being hurt. The answer was yes and it showed a little, but she had been through worse and wasn't going to make a fuss over it.

And here she thought there might one day be one smart adult int eh world. One day. Until then, she was right and that was what mattered.
"Naturally." She raised her chin in the air, as proud as any royal, and kept walking as she eyed David with his ridiculous height.
"So, uh, I kind of have a couple batteries. Before the room went boom." All by herself. AND THEY MADE EPIC EXPLOSIONS. THe thought was enough to put her bounce back in her step.

"Ah, for the phone? I'm not sure you'll need it anymore. I think I know who's causing all this."
They started up, the tunnel winding throughout the mountain.
"74 is the only territory with Qi Sprites, that we've seen. All eyes are turned on them so....I'm thinking that's where it'll send you, in the end."
